The majority of residents want the audit. Some have experienced the wrath of town officials who want the division to remain for the sole purpose of "do as I say. Not as I do" Town officials should welcome any legitimate actions to heal rifts and allow for truth and transparancy to be the standard. The shouting angry official is new to the regular panel. His anger directed at Rita Lombardi was over the top. She is a quality person with impeccable reputation and cooperative nature. Very sad to see.
They fear her most. She's beloved, intelligent and usually quite strong.
Always a big mistake to cry in public though. Especially around them.
You have to keep absolute control of your emotions.

Don't know what they are so upset about, do you? I mean, if they have nothing to hide and they want to be transparent, this should be a good thing. Corruption should be rooted out in all professions that deal with the public.

I truly hope the truth comes out. I think K will not be found guilty. But that still lets one family wondering what happened to their son. The kicker for me was how they collected evidence in solo cups and the leaf blower. Just that is reasonable doubt.
Hopefully, the intelligent of the community - maybe not a part of the implied gene pool - will actually do something. I was a Natick native and understand how the 'system' works up there. Corruption abounds...only a few families control. When will people learn.

The special committee they created just for the audit. The town selectman. The powerful people in the town government & police dept.

Are you familiar with the Karen Read case? I'm thinking that may have something to do with it. If not, you got a lot to catch up on. You have time though because there isn't a verdict yet. I knew nothing about it but I've quickly become team Karen.
