I saw this live on the BBC in Wales (as it was being shown across the whole of the UK). It was my first time ever seeing this sport, and what an amazing advert for the sport this was. I’ll definitely be trying to catch more Hurling going forward.
For any brits that are still bamboozled they are only few things you need to know 1 3 points for a goal ,1 point over the bar 2 No offside ,there is squareball but don't worry about that doesn't happen too often 3 the ball can't be touched by the hand on the ground it must be lifted by the stick 4 the ball can be handled but only twice in a single possession and only for four steps(bit loosely policed) which can be reset by bouncing the ball on the ground.also ball must be struck with the hand not thrown however they are problems with the implementation of that rule. 5 tackling is shoulder to shoulder they are other rules regarding the stickwork but i will leave that
I'm watching a full Hurling game for the very first time! Its parts of my heritage but sadly I know little about the sport despite being a Hurley and Lynch! The little I've seen to date reminds of cricket, hockey and rugby all rolled into one! Only a bit more brutal! Slainte! 👍🙋🇮🇪🏴🙏🕊️
Fair play to the BBC for sharing this exhibition of hurling, great game.

It's not that complicated man...get over it
Brits don't like a good sport like Hurling. They like "pussy ball" (i.e., soccer).

@@arto9775 Exactly i didn't copy and paste the whole GAA rule book ,i just explained the fundamentals
