    Great video guys. Fantastic colour match. Spent the past two days on something similar. Very tricky building up the colours to match the texture but worth it in the end. What fixative do you guys use with the pigment? Appreciate you passing on the knowledge 🙌

    Amazing work. Fascinates me as a model maker too. I saw it done once on TV and wondered how many people had the skill set to do the work. It must be a very satisfying job. I see that the finish can last indefinitely 👍✌️

      100%!! And not many people know that either, it's a highly rewarding job, especially when we get that moment to step back and see it all finished

    I'm using light brown brick, black trim, black garage door. Is white mortar better than gray mortar to bring the colors together?

    Hi mate how would you suggest correcting flush brickwork on a recently completed new build? I’d like a recessed joint - could I just cut some of the mortar out

    How long is the coloring expected to last ?

  • @oldboyuk

    Nice result! How long does a solution like this last before it needs redoing/top up?

    • @brickmakeover
      @brickmakeover  Год назад +2

      Thank you Max, our specialised solution penetrates the surface of the bricks up to 3mm and weathers naturally as any normal brick would. So as long as the face of the brick is in place, the colour will remain. Subscribe and we will explain this process in a future video!

    Great transformation👍 Will brick cleaning take the tint off?

    • @brickmakeover
      @brickmakeover  Год назад

      Great question! It won't, no, our tint soaks up to 10mm into the brick itself so even if the surface erodes slightly due to cleaning or erosion the tint will last

    What do you use as a fixing agent in your tint?

    • @brickmakeover
      @brickmakeover  Год назад +1

      Great question! No fixing agent is required, we use natural materials which soaks into the brick itself and combines with the brick for a natural finish

    A couple of decent hanging baskets would have made more of a difference and cost far less.

  • @jaylondon283

    It’s blended abit more than it was but still doesn’t really match. Depends on the cost. Anymore than a few hundred quid wouldn’t be worth it as it still looks like scruffy brickwork.
