I am really enjoying Alexander on this series. He is showing a very upbeat positive vibe. He's usually in the background and I didn't realize he had such a positive personality. Good job, Sarah. It's coming along nicely.
Couldn't agree more!
Number 3 for me, think on a large scale 1 & 2 will give off a purple hue. Even though three is darker, careful landscaping will use that as a nice blank canvas to work from. Looking great team.
Thanks for voting 😀
I prefer #4 for the entire house. If it were just an accent area, like a fireplace, then #3. Number 2 comes off as purple to me. Love your work and always excited to see your projects! I have followed you since Room Service and your work never disappoints. Thank you!
Thank you 😀
I'm clearly the minority: I like 2. I think the color is very dark, and if the various shades of the brick vary the grey tones a little bit, it will look more natural than painted, giving it some depth. New Sarah videos are one spot of joy in the week!
Aw, I'm so glad. Thanks for voting Julie!
3 or 4 looks great.
I had my response before I went to the comment section... and it looks like I'm in good company! My choice is #3. It looks like it bonds well with the brick, and I like how dark it is. I can't remember if you said if you were going to do additional painting outside, such as the door. I'll have to look at some older videos. I have been watching you for many years, since the beginning years of HGTV. I love your show. You have guided my sense of decor for over 15 years. Thank you for that! 😊❤️
Thanks for your kind words Monique. I appreciate you tuning in!
Number 3. With it being such a dark color it will fit in with the natural surroundings and not look like it’s out of place. It’s going to be so pretty!
Thanks!!
I like 4 because, hopefully when the whole house is done, some of the difference in each brick will show through.
Number 4 for my choice. I like that the original striation in the brick substrate showing through. Love the series Sarah and Team!
Thanks for voting
Number 3. I get excited watching you get excited! Thanks!
Hahah thanks for watching!!
Number 3 is the best by far. True color with no red showing.
3 - solid flat colour, getting rid of any retro feel like the inside. Great job Sarah and everyone! A real pleasure to watch evolve.
Thanks so much!
My vote is #4. That's a fascinating product and process. Just want to add a big thumbs up re: LED under-cabinet lighting. My aging eyes really appreciate the task lighting. Enjoying your videos, especially your retrospective on home offices. I apologize for chiming in on the sink placement in your own laundry/craft/office space. After listening to you talk about the public commentary, it's a good reminder to be mindful of whether an opinion is really necessary or helpful. I look forward to your videos so keep sharing!
Thanks Victoria, I appreciate that. Thanks for watching!
I’m liking #3! Good luck
Thanks!
Hmmm hard to tell as it really depends on our computer screen. BUT since you are asking :-) I vote for #1 for the body of the house and then #3 for the window sills. I find the 2 stain that are diluted allow too much red to show through and it give a slight purplish hue to the colours. Had the window been black THEN I would have said #3 but with white windows #1 will have a little less stark contrast and the #3 sills will be a nice subtle "eyeliner" for the openings. BTW the wallpapers are delicious! OH and I loooooooove that there are so many different views it really shows that that is something for everyone! AND Sarah, REALLY , you will make it look gorgeous as always.....so YOU choose! wink
Thanks so much!
@@SarahRichardsonDsgn I rarely disagree with your choices so, in my book, YOU HAVE GREAT TASTE!!! LoL
But, YOU DO and most of the world knows... not as many people know I do. I take much pleasure in agreeing with many of your choices. I hope you were able to finish the project even with the slow down of social distancing...??!!!??
Number 1 is my choice, don’t like it watered down, and 3 looks almost black. Love the piggy and all wallpapers! Do you think the upper kitchen cabinets are too dark?
I love #3.
I like number 3 the best for sure!
Thanks for the vote!
cool Sarah gets so exited... I really like how you have conversations about that is happening and you are receptive to other people's ideas!
Thank you so much!!
I like 1 and 3! Good luck!! Can't wait to see what you pick!
Thanks!!
I like #3 best. Its dark but for the shape and style of this home it will look so modern and clean.
Love number 1 because of the slight blue cast. You have some lovely blue and grey shades inside. It makes for a nice hint of wonderful things to come. Love this channel!! You and your entire family and crew are lots of fun and so talented. Thanks for sharing your creative ideas.
Wow, thank you so much! We appreciate you tuning in 😀
I love 3 and 4 they both have a richness that's lacking in 1 and 2. If, I was brave enough to stain the whole house a dark color I would go, balls to the wall, with number 3. Love all your work Sarah!!
Thanks! Appreciate you voting 😀
NawKaw be is an excellent company
First off thank you, Sarah for all the questions answered regarding the painting of the house. Those two gentleman explained everything I was wondering about. 🙌🏻 And second, you make me get excited about wallpaper again, and believe me I never thought I would ever say that! BEAUTIFUL!!
I can’t wait to see everything finished. 🤗🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻💕
Hehehe glad you like the wallpaper!
Sarah Richardson 🤗💕
Number 3 for me!! Can't wait to see the conclusion!!
We can't wait to show everyone!
Number 3. I think with charcoal it's best to not go wimpy. I don't like the red brick showing through -- looks like chocolate.
Love all the wallpaper! It's cool how they're all different, but are really cohesive.
I like 3
I like no.4. Looks like a great product. Can’t wait for what’s next.😊
Thanks for watching!
I am going to vote for 4; but I do have a question about the use of so much wallpaper -- 1) is it really budget friendly for someone who doesn't have a go-to installer, and 2) won't it tend to be less durable and more trendy in a rental situation?
I'm liking 4 Sarah. Fantastic transformation 😍
Yay! Thank you!
Number 4 it’s so obvious. Good luck!
I like #3 stain. Gave me a very good idea what works for brick and might use it for our family room fireplace!
Awesome!
#4 is my pick.
#3 Sarah is my preference
3! What a great product - and I remember that Reno 12 years ago. Love your designs you are so talented
Thank you!
Stain number 3!!!
Thanks for the vote!
My daughter and I vote for stain number 4. We love watching your videos together.
I'm glad you both enjoy them! I've got a ton more on the way!
Whatever you choose will be the right one. Wallpaper. Just wow! I was about to have a Sarah breakdown. Lol! So glad you posted.
A Sarah breakdown? Can't be having that! More content is on the way!
1 or 3 for me! If no. 1 comes off with a little blue/grey hue, I’d be ok with that. I’d be concerned that no. 3 looks too dark and doesn’t allow for any relief in the overall view of the home. Hope that makes sense?! Love the wallpapers! They are stunning!
Glad you like the wallpapers! Thanks for voting.
Okay - have to admit I was unsure about the slot wall treatment in the bedroom but now that is is painted, I love, love, love it !
I could even see doing a slot wall in a herringbone parrwen :) where adding a little visual interest would be a plus
Glad you like it!
One vote for number 3! Love the wallpapers.
Thanks!
Number 3 will make the green plants pop! That’s what my neighbors across the street did - a dark charcoal gray.
Good point! Thanks for voting 😊
I would probably go with #4, but all of them look much better than the existing🌸
Thanks for the vote!
The stain for the brick looks like an amazing product! I'd go with 3 or 4 to ensure the blue on the left isn't too predominant. The bedrooms look great!
Thanks!
What stain product are they using? I want to use it on my house!!
Go for 4! LOVE how this reno is coming along Sarah. Question. What white have you used throughout the interior? Can't wait to see the finished product!!
We will have a detailed source guide on our website once we reveal the finished house, so stay tuned!
#3 for sure! Red and blue? #2 reads purple. And on a sunnier day #1will be even more blue.
Thanks for the vote!
One or three. I've been renovating vicariously by watching your channel. Being housebound in Florida for 2 months has been frustrating. My first trip out of the house yesterday, was to a paint store! Gloves and mask on, I bought primer and paint to paint an exterior (resin) wall medallion. It was so exciting/nerve wracking to leave the house but I'd run out of interior projects! Years ago, we saw you apply silver leaf, in big squares to a room on HGTV. We loved it so much that my husband applied gold leaf in one and a half inch squares to a wall in our dining room. I still can't believe he had the patience. When we retired and moved, the realtor insisted we paint the room beige. Still breaks my heart.
I'm glad you're keeping busy Kathleen and I'm happy to hear I've brought you inspiration in your design projects over the years! I hope I can continue to do so!
I like #3. Keep the videos coming Sarah. Just love them.
#3 for sure.
Thanks for voting!
Love the wallpaper in each of the spaces , as for the outside, I really like #3....can’t wait to see which one you choose!
Yay! Thank you!
Option 3 is my pick. I can’t wait to see the transformation! New doors and hardware make a huge difference. I want to do that at my house❣️
I totally agree!
2!!! Actually anything but 1, but 2 is my favourite. The original colour of the brick come through a bit, neutralizing a bit of the blue I think
Thanks for voting!
Number 3 for sure!
Thanks for voting!
We're voting #3 on paint and yes to the under cabinet lighting! Looking awesome!
Thanks so much!
Number 2.... I like the grayish of it !
Thanks for voting!
Looks like another beauty, Sarah. I also can not wait to see how it looks with the furniture in place. No word from the Minister of Exterior, but I quite like number 2.
Thanks!
I’m leaning towards 2. I like the warmth of the brick peaking through.
Thanks for the vote!
I don’t have a strong opinion at all this time. Too hard to see a difference on my screen. But I know whichever one you go with it will look way better than the original color! Can’t wait to see how it turns out! All the bedrooms look so cute!
Thanks for tuning in!!
Sarah, you seemed to be in SUCH a good mood in this video.
I thank you for that as i was smiling right there with you, and i really needed a pick up.
Cannot wait to see the finished reveal on this project.
I'm so glad! 😀
NUMBER 3!
The result is just super, Wallpaper in the rooms, doors, even in the kitchen at the same time it is clear how good it will be!I vote for 1 option, there the brick is visible well!
Thank you so much 😊
Paint #3 Sarah !!!! House is looking wonderful and the doors are awesome!!!
Thanks so much!
I like 3 the best. Looking forward to seeing it all done.
Thanks!
Number 3! Agreed that 2 and 4 pull the red-brown of the brick, and doesn't look as modern as how the interior is looking! :)
3 is my pick too
Thanks for voting!
Number three or four! Love it all, as always!
Thank you 😊
It’s coming along beautifully! I like number 3 or 4, with my preference being 4. I like the slight variation in brick that can still shine through in 4.
Thanks!
I feel like the hue of the brick stain should be the precise shade of blue-green to fully neutralize the orange-red of the brick, and if it is applied properly, it can pull the brick color fully to the grey side of things without becoming overly dark. I picked option 4 of all the ones pictured, but I wouldn't mind seeing an overall tone that is somewhat lighter still.
Thanks for tuning in, and for your vote!
Just wondering which colour was chosen for the brick. And could you please comment on the lighter colour beneath the brick? I'm going to check out the NawKaw company and this product for the brick on my house ... which is 3 colours! Thanks for the great info!
Hey Wanda! I don't want to spoil the big reveal for everyone… they were ALL great options though!
The house looks beautiful inside!!! As far as the color of the brick outside I personally prefer 1 or 3. I'm leaning more towards 3. By the way, LOVE that you are changing the color of the brick.
Thanks for voting!
I prefer #3 & #4.
Leaning more toward #4. :)
Sarah, you are one lucky person-you have Alex and Tommy in your life (of course, along with all of your wonderful family). My choice is #4. I have loved your work since way back in your early shows. If you’ve got Sarah, you know it’s going to be great. Loved the
‘carte blanche’ comment from your ski chalet client.
Thanks so much 😊
I vote # 3 it looked the most gray and I thought it was pretty , it reminded me of your style, Sarah . Looking forward to next video with the colour you picked.
Thanks!
I like #3! Love your designs and videos Sarah!
Keep us posted😉
Thanks so much! 😊
Sarah I love all your tips and tricks! I've learned so much from your shows and videos!
Awesome! Thank you!
Yes number 3. The others go brown or blue
Hi Sarah, Number 3 gets my vote. Miss you on HGTV USA!
Thanks for voting!
Number 3 - all the way!
#3 seems to be the most bold. I do like #4 as I enjoy the variations of tones from the underlying brick colors. I am not a fan of a solid paint on bricks because you can always tell they were painted.
And yes, I am also wondering what happened to the bunk beds!?
Vote #3, looks like a great product.
#2! I like seeing some of the original color poke through.
Thanks for voting!
NUMERO TRES! It is a nice graphite grey without too much blue or brown. BTW, how is this product priced to the home owner ... by the square foot or by time it takes to apply? The Nawkaw dude mentioned spraying, rolling, brushing ......
At first I thought I liked 2 better than 4, but the more I look at it, I like 4 best. Definitely not 1 or 3. Can't wait to see the finished house, and I have Collected on my bedside table up next to read!
I hope you love reading Collected as much as I loved creating it!
Difficult choice, glad Sarah's the one making it. I'm liking no 4, but I also think no 1 could look stunning overall.
Thanks for voting!
I vote for 4. I love all of the wallpaper you chose.
Thanks!
I do like #1. There will be so much green all around the house. #1!
Thanks for voting!
Another fun time with my cup of tea. Thanks Sarah. Wallpapers are great. I vote 3. However, 2 may work as well. I painted my fence grey and the green foliage looks great against it. Just like the Sarah’s house example In the video. Maybe hold up some greenery against the colour to see which looks best? As a nurse, I have to make mention of the lack of masking when talking with the Nawkaw men. Exposure time and talking increases the risk of a COVID19 infection. Best for everyone to mask. Especially as there were times when you were all closer than a hockey stick. Stay safe!
Number 3 for me. Love your series and can hardly wait for the final reveal. Minister of exterior always makes me smile 😊❤️
Aw, thanks so much!
It came down to 1 or 3 for me - I like the deeper color saturation. I don't think you can go wrong with either but let's say 3 for voting purposes ;) Totally agree with every visit feeling like a big reveal! It's that way for us too :D
Thanks for voting Jacqui!
number 4! without a doubt!
I like #3 with #4 a close second.
Very interesting the guys explanation on how their product work and the difference between them and regular paint. Thanks for that. And I can't wait to see what color you pick because you normally go against the tide 😂.
Glad you enjoyed!
#3 is my fav!
having bought a house with and ugly old wallpaper all over the place, let me tell yours look great, but how do you manage the fact that holes will be coming and going?
4. 3 is my second choice.
Hi Sarah. Another great bit of lunchtime entertainment. Thank you. Love what's happening on the inside - all coming along really well. Definitely Number 3 for the exterior. Cheers, DEB T (NZ)
Thanks for voting Deb!
2 or 4 Love the way its going!!
Coming along beautifully! Can't wait to see it fully furnished. As for the staining, #3!
Thank you! Hopefully you won't need to wait long!
Sarah, I vote for number 3. I am wondering what happened with the bunk beds? Coming along nicely. Have a good week, 👍💗 Chris-Raleigh NC
The material on the walls take up too much space. I thought the bunk beds were great, too.
Thank you for answering 👍💖 Chris
The upper left looks great!
Number 2 or 4. They aren't so dark. Can't wait to see it all done.
Thanks!
I LOVE #3 Sarah!!! Will you paint the windows? Wonder if the white will be too stark a contrast - black windows would be lovely :). A black metal roof would also look so great with that color grey!! :)
Thanks for voting Stephanie!
Number four on the brick stain.
