I’m really surprised that it broke. Hosim makes great budget Bashers. My twin 390 motor Hosim 9125 is my favorite basher. I’ve beat the ever living hell out of it and run it on 2,3,and 4 s on its stock 60a esc. I did have to replace the spur gear but only because my 8 year old nephew ran it full speed into a cinder block head on..
Well the thing with the new x?? series they are either a hit or total miss it's likely the quality control problem half of the vidoes of the x07 basically breaks in the first session if not they are brutally rugged cars if they survive the first test runs without problems.
The 25 "C" rating is for discharge speed. There is a second "C" rating which is used for charge speed, and it will be 1c 2c or 5c
1c means you charge with he number of amps matching the battery capacity. I.e: a 1c 5000 mAh battery charges at 5 amps.
The charge "C" rating has nothing to do with the discharge speed "C" rating (example is 25c 50c 120c etc)
Most lipo packs want 1c maximum, so you only want to put in the charge amps that match the battery capacity.
"Living on the edge" is only fun until your garage burns down, as did a family friend's garage.
Besides the fire, the amount if toxic smoke lithium fires put out is enough to asphyxiate you, should you be charging a lipo in your bedroom while you sleep.
Lipo fires are nothing to joke about. They're nearly impossible to put out once they get going. Those lipo fire safety charge bags also do nothing. Do a RUclips search to see how "well" those snake oils work.

side note I just charged 2 China junks li-ion 3s 2k packs at max 15 amp charge rate. About 5 minutes charge time 30-100%

I can't believe you thought the issue was the "brake is on". The electric motor is the brake on many of these rc cars and is impossible for acceleration and brake at the same time. Anyway, I'll look for part 2 and see what's up. Thanks for the review

This is my first Hosim car and i never had a problem with it and I've owned it for a while the motor did get hot but i added a fan and it was good.. im an Arrma guy and i gotta give this car a good 7/10
Nice little rig , I’ve had tiers that were hard like that with no grip and I soaked them with Simple Green and they get sticky & soft😊
Rek Rc... has a great video showing the capability of these cars... I'd just say you ended up with a faulty one because from the very start it sounded a bit off...I have one of these cars and mine has taken a absolute beating and keeps going
I actually have 3 hours f these 1 07 and 2 x08 and they are still running it’s not much of a basher and they get hot of 3s but for entry level I think there good

Hey I had the same problem. The magnets on the inner cilinder of the motor just blew out! All the reviewers there assume it's the diff and maybe they are ruined too but basically the motor is too small for this car, so it gets super hot to the point of the glue on the magnets not longer doing it's job. If you unmount the motor you will see that it no longer spins freely...

If you wanna fix it... You can get a cheap Surpass Hobby motor from Ali, the red ones. They are supossed to be "explosion resistant", having a net or something to avoid the magnets blowing out. It gets hot as hell though, to the point of being dangerous to the batteries so... Fix one break one
the brake is because another controller is interfering with the signal. restart the controller. and also, can you add some more extreme jumps. nice video!
Definitely motor issues. Good little car besides that. I like the included lipo size.

Consistent banging on the concrete perhaps might be the issue. Try grass & dirt areas. More fun!

I still think it’s a good deal in my opinion tho,it happens to a lot of rcs where the motor gets lose and can’t really get into contact with the gear and it makes clicking sounds or that it feels like it has a brake on.when I saw that this man was going through that issue I already knew what it was because of how stressed and frustrated I was trying to find the issue that I wasted money in parts like the diffs and the gear hub and yet the issue still didn’t go away until I found out the motor was just loose so I tied it with a wire.I’m still interest in this rc especially to step forward to a brushless set up.👍

Xinglehong parent company. I have 9125, Q901, and Q903. They use a powdered aluminum alloy spur gear which shreds, and the Q series use a brass pinion which bend. This is on 2S. These are designed to fail so you'll be roped into buying replacements like I did. And yes, parts are cheap and easy to obtain, but in the long run, your money would have been better off on a trusted brand. Don't be duped like me.
Makes that 9500e look that much better! How disappointing that would be to get one of these for a child and it not make it through its 1st run. What is the point of giving an rc brushless power if the drive train won't handle it? 💯😉

25 is discharge not total pack milliamp capacity best to vharge for longevity at if 5000 ma capacity at 5 amps less is lower wear and tear on chemistry 4 longer pack life

Hey brother I baught my hosim x07 a couple of months ago. I was out running it today and broke the center out of the wheel. I tried to order a wheel on hosim website but it says out of stock, what can I buy for it to get it out on the road again any help would be greatly appreciated I'm new to hobby rc soo any advice is awesome
Look up wheels for the hex size and you should find something

@@donniedavis9346 I may have ran the RC but remember this was a while ago I think during spring or summer🤷 and the way I see comments doesn't tell me what video it is. But if I remember correctly I didn't have a good go with that RC? 12mm hex is common and you must have a way to measure the actual wheel you'll have a much better choice by searching with that info possibly better than the stock one you just broke 👍💯

Bummer you couldn't put the rc in the hands of the kid. I bet the tires had a heavy coating of silicon mold release spray on them. Some run time and it wore off. Motor did look a little 🤏.

I experienced this same issue with my x07 but my motor casing isn't spinning like yours did. I want to change/upgrade the motor. But i am not sure which motor to use as I'm new to the hobby. Any suggestions for a direct upgrade?

yeah it's garbage… Update from an Owner… The Car Is Toy Grade … Electronics are the worst crap you can imagine and all the things you think are adjustable is all bunch of crap and useless. You can't even change a pinion gear. I can't tell you how disappointed I am. I can modify almost anything except this toy grade crap it just is what it is and it's bad. So the truth it's a waste of money… Sorry RC guy but you know the cars junk but your paid to make it look better than it is
