At least one child, totally childless will make the marriage so lonely. I’m so pleased that I have an outstanding son make my life more wholesome and satisfactory. Dont need to super rich to achieve it. Having love and giving love really enrich our life. Some people went through pain to have one, count my blessings.
if you look at the new born number, the number did not drop by a lot. when we say birth rate, we need to look at the denomination number. if you have many new citizen over the years, the birth rate would be affected numerically. if you have new citizen age is 3 years old, they won't be new born, but we do increase work force in the long run. new born is not the only way to increase young work force.
Without children u marry at present enjoy life to fullest but remember as u get old sickness appear ,1 of them illness start the other jialak caurse he or she has no 1 to rely also old liao no 1 to share her burden die lah ,of course now both of u young good earners we all will face it at that u see others with children share burden has manpower appreciate ,how about 1 day left u alone weak illness cant walk see liao😢😢😢
最大的原因是不愿花时间和精力在孩子身上。
这是全球性发达国家的问题不只是新加坡有，尤其在亚洲国家传统的养儿防老这种观念早已不存在。

说到出国旅游，以前都没廉价航空飞机当然贵，以前也没手机只有靠家里的电话通话人跟人的相处时间也有素质一些。说到底也不是因为物质上的享受有人不停的想办法来赚我们的钱。
说到底就是自我，自由，享受，不愿付出和贡献。
我是个年过半百的人，其实我了解年轻人的担忧，工作繁忙，无法分心应该是很大的原因。

我自己两个孩子，作为父母，除了放弃自由、奉献时间精力，最现实的大问题是： 钱啊！ 多生一个孩子也需要多一个房间是不是？ 逼着换更大的房子，你知道现在房价也是很大一块对不！
还需要一个房间 wfh ！ 一个孩子对一个房间，childcare很贵，大学也会很贵，政府的津贴十分十分有限的！

以前可以天生天养的态度，饿了去採些野菜挖个🍠。现在要胎教，3岁认字，5岁发展才艺，7-18岁进好学校，要大学毕业。还不知能负担的起新房，婚礼。养个孩子是20多年不间断的操心。现代孩子要电脑，手机，平板，游戏机，出国旅游，补习，才艺课。 不只是$是时间，然后等他们大了来养老吗？能独立不败家就偷笑了😂

從一開始就不是新加坡人不要生孩子，而是政府早就制定了要引進外來移民的手段而已！從新加坡人被壓制不得生三胎到鼓勵生育這段時間根本就沒有任何要新加坡人多生育的意願與措施，倉促的開放外來移民後就立刻把土生曾與國家共患難的公民與外來移民共享新加坡的成果，而那些在兩個就夠三個罰款的公民在絕育後就只能眼睜睜的看着別人可以生三個且還有獎勵，甚麼是建國一代立國一代？
