I was a volunteer at the Akron Civic Theater when Oak Ridge Boys performed there. I was helping the Meet and Greet. I was impressing how he took time with each fan. He also took time with us volunteers and took time to thank us for giving our time to help in promoting the Akron Civic Theater.
Joe will be missed by a lot of fans and people who love him. I believe that he is in Heaven singing with the other Angels. Sending love and prayers to his family and band members 🙏
What a great loss this is! Joe was an amazing, cheerful, fun and talented entertainer! We already miss his bright light! I was honored to meet him and he was just as personable as he is onstage!
I am a huge Oakridge Boys fan! I've loved them since 1974 at the age of 15! Joe Bonsall had been with them only for some months and I followed them as that line up! Joe Bonsall; Duane Allen; William Lee Golden and Richard Sterben! Now they are on their farewell tour and no one can go on forever here on earth 🌎. Joe was 76. Duane and Richard are both 81 and William is 86! Amazing 50 plus years with these 4 great guys (Boys) Rest in peace Joe Bonsall!

We have lost an amazing singer, both country & gospel. He has left a wonderful legacy in his music. Maybe “Rest in Peace “.
