I loved his energy on the stage. Not many if any in country music had more energy on stage then him. Clear sharp voice and was an enormous spokes person for the group. When he spoke for the group it all came out so clear like it was rehearsed many times. We will miss his energy and enthusiasm for life itself. Loved watching them for 51 years,
@@brianmccarthy8732 Thank you so much for sharing your heartfelt memories, Brian. Joe Bonsall truly was a powerhouse on stage with unmatched energy and a clear, sharp voice that resonated with so many. His ability to articulate and represent the Oak Ridge Boys was indeed impressive and added so much to their performances. His enthusiasm for life and music will definitely be missed by all of us who admired his work. It’s incredible to hear that you’ve been a fan for 51 years - that speaks volumes about the impact he had. We are glad we could trigger such good feelings and help celebrate his incredible legacy. We will all cherish his legacy and the joy he brought to our lives.
That’s why I loved him so much. I went to a lot of OAK RIDGE BOYS concerts, I was very fortunate. I could seldom tear my eyes away from Joe. He had such personality, and energy. He did so much of the ‘speaking to the audience’ duties, I loved it. Every time they sang ELVIRA, Joe soloing on each verse, I waited for “…She’s gonna jump and holler…” because he would do that little jump. I’m grateful I kept all my vinyl, so I have many albums and I can enjoy ‘The Oaks’, and my sweet special tenor. 💕🥲 When I’m alone and sing along, unconsciously I’m singing tenor with Joe every time. God bless him, and give him sweet rest. I love you, Joe. ❤️
