The flag is the Royal Airforce Ensign, it is raised on RAF Stations every morning and lowered every evening, if you look up RAF planes they will all have a “target” on the wings, so glad you love all things British love from a former PMRAFNS (Princess Mary’s Royal Airforce Nursing Service) and a veteran of the RAF ❤️
Much respect Gillian, from a former RAF Catering Corp 1971 - 1974 RAF Halton.
You beat me to saying it. this guy is 100% right.
A Parafin! Do they still exist? Haven't met one since RAF Nocton Hall in the mid seventies when I was at Waddington.
My late Great-Uncle William Edward Harrison was in the RAF as a flight engineer but I’m not sure when as he was born on 5th January 1923
I live near to RAF Brize Norton, and thank all service men and women for your service. We often have the transporter planes overhead, which fly so low over our house I am often woken in the night as the house shakes.
JT, the fish fridge magnet is from me (Andrew) it was supposed to have arrived with the highland cow fridge magnet. For reference I am the Andrew that sent the cat tunnel and I want to be adopted LOL. Much luv. 👍👍👍👍👍
OMG the way JT pronounced Devon, had me crying.🤣
Haha I thought the same Dev on not Dev un
Somehow he made it sound like a persons name, like theres some guy out there called DeVon Custard 😅
No Cruella's here.... 😂
Coast-a instead of Costa sent me
@@SK-oq8rg There was lad at my school called Devon (pounced Dev on) and we took the piss out of him for being called Devon whist living in Devon
Omg! This must have cost Lauren a fortune to buy and post!! Such a very generous lady ❤️
I know right?! Even the postage from UK to USA for that size and weight I'd guess would be anywhere around £50+ easy!
@@davythedragon and the rest £££? X
@@dawnshaw6995 she bought them so much cool stuff and loads of food too, super generous!
@@davythedragon £160 😅
@@laurenC91.lovely thought, and lovely lady ❤❤
Dude. Devon like heaven. Best custard there is. Goes with those steamed puds 😊Lauren came through.
i disagree. birds is the best 😜 and im willing to have a Bugsy Malone style custard fight to dispute it 😏 ( Your nobody, respect for the human man warrior and wyvern king 🤘)
people should actually do some research, before sending anything to American youtubers
@s4ss1n Bugsy Malone it is...like paintball but stickier... Thick44, our Lord and Uncle. 😎
@@s4ss1n I used to think birds was the best but Devon custard is by far a lot better
@@flowerofscotland1797 to be fair there isn't much between them apart from the fact that the best birds custard is the one you make yourself and devon is the best pour from a carton variety, though i'd still be up for the bugsy style custard fight to see which does better as a custard gun amunition 😜
"Is this what all your measuring cups are like?" - not quite, JT. Those two are what we'd call measuring *jugs* over here. Our usual measuring jugs have the measurements up the side and can be used for liquids or dry ingredients (tip: if using a measuring jug for all your ingredients, measure out the dry ingredients first, or dry it out VERY thoroughly if you measure out wet ingredients first. Ingredients such as flour are a nightmare to try to clean off things if they get wet and especially if they dry on as it will set like concrete). Also, check to see what batteries your new scales will use as they might not be all the same. Kitchen scales like the ones you've been sent will usually take button batteries, but sometimes they might take AAA or even AA size.
Your custard will be best warmed up, especially when you're putting it onto warm puddings. You can eat it cold as well, but it's best warm, mostly.
And Anna, I'd keep your slippers as dry as possible if I were you. Big slippers like those aren't usually waterproof on the soles (even though they're lovely and warm for your feet).
That's an awesome haul!
The flag is the Royal Air Force ensign, flown at Air Bases
Lauren is the MVP of boxes wow, Anna's face when she saw the slippers was priceless, the flag is from the Royal Airforce, love your videos can't wait to see more
The flag is the Royal Air Force ensign which is raised every morning and taken down every night at every RAF base worldwide. It was introduced in 1921, even though the Royal Air Force was formed on 1sr April 1918.
During WW2 there was a lot of privation in Britain, so thousands of Americans personally sent "care packages" over to help out hungry British families. I think Lauren's box is like the ultimate "thank-you" for all that generosity! And it's no wonder to me that she loves you guys. You're great.
What in the Mary-Poppin's-bag was that parcel!? Laura you are one incredibly generous and thoughtful lady!
As a Brit living abroad I'm always crazy jealous of the goodies Anna and JT get that I miss from the UK, but then I also got a huge package of British groceries from my parents for my birthday 😅
Looking forward to the cheese scone video, I make those myself when I'm feeling homesick!
Thanks ❤😊
Excellent choices on the cider too 😄 After much taste testing I can confirm that Thatchers make the the best apple cider and Old Mout the best 'flavoured' cider 😅
@@monkeyknuts321 I would agree although I do love thatchers blood orange cider which isn't an old mout flavour.... curiosity....was my name spelt as Laura in your comment a typo? Someone else put 'Warren' 🙈 not seen that spelling before! 😂😂😂
Got to love some De von custard and car mel melts 😁
😂😂😂
Don't forget the Ty rell's crisps 😉
Always upsetting when "De-von" isn't followed by "get the tables"
Lauren that would of cost a fortune the stuff alone and the post would of cost quite a bit as well with the weight
Wow very kind lady indeed
In the 80's I was a village policeman in Someset, England and Thatchers cider was one shed with old Mr Thatcher making cider. On a hot day we would call in for a half pint, and for parties we would buy a couple of gallons. Now it's a huge, national company, based in the same village and the cider is great, and you can still buy it by the gallon.
The look on Anna’s face when she gets cow related gifts is adorable. she just stands there with a huge grin on her face hugging her new stuff like her life depends on it. Wonderful.
Beau was purring so loudly! That's how cats say thank you! 😍😘
Love your faces when you realised how strong our cider is!! RAF is Royal Air Force
Anna's reaction to the mug was adorable!!!
I agree, she's so cute, the whole video was great and they both make me laugh so much. They're such a well matched couple 👍😃
@@samibear8499 honesty I love them both they're perfect together so sweet :)) x
Honestly, You guys are literally the most nicest, humblest couple in the world, I have to say ❤. Also I have to give props to Lauren, Cheese & Rice!! 😮😂
Sticky toffee pudding is the best dessert 👏🏻👌🏻
They are so ungrateful. Just tossed to the side
Jam RolyPoly is my fav… but also Gypsy Tart!!
Ooh, you're gonna love the Thatcher's Katy! I live not far from Thatchers; it's in the middle of a mass of orchards and the whole place smells very strongly of cider.
DE VON? Ogh dear JT. It's DEV ON. Anyhow,it's always a pleasure and a real hoot, watching you,my friends
Such generosity!!!!! You are both loved so much! ❤❤
British pigs in blankets are sausages wrapped in bacon, cooked in the oven, and are pretty tasty.
Old Mout makes nice cider as does Thatchers.
Ripples are almost Flakes but have been fully dipped in more chocolate so have a full chocolate shell.
Bo would also have a field day with the empty boxes, as cats love jumping in and out of boxes.
Edit: Anna there is actually at least one site to adopt/sponsor a Highland Cow at Dumble Farm in Arran (a Scottish Island).
I love the way JT goes HUUUUUUUUH all the time and listening to his pronunciations are hilarious 😂
Just love you both. Your content is so authentic. Look forward to seeing your decorating video. Never change who you are. I'm a dog person but I hope you make a space for beau inside Charly will soon get more relaxed around him. Best un-opening episode I've watched for a while.
That Highland cow blanket, I think you will find that it is a duvet (Continental Quilt) cover. Loving the vids
Costa Coffee is a british coffee chain, similar to starbucks, they are global, do have US locations but are not big in the US, and they also make their own products to have at home
Hi Anna galaxy hot chocolate is my favourite I add a slash of milk with the powder and mix it into a paste then add the hot water it makes it all frothy
Ps the custard will go really well with the steam pudding
What a wonderful box of gifts! Eat the custard with the sticky toffee puddings. That’s why she included it I’m sure.
You are correct 👍🏽😁
I did mention Highland cows in the stream. Lauren may not have sent a real one but she's gone above and beyond. Lauren you are awesome
Devon say it like heaven
Custard goes with the puddings 😉
Absolutely! It's a must.
I prefer hot puddings with cold custard but each to Thier own 😊
Don't stich JT up. Custard is savoury and goes on bacon sarnies...
If you can’t go to Britain, Britain comes to you.
25:04 De Von Custard 😂😂😂😂
Thank god your letting the cat in now.. well done the both of ya... from Lee in the UK....
Ive been a fan of your content for a very long time. I love the dynamic between you two. I watch your content while working alone and it keeps me going. Thank you both so much.
revels are my favorite sweets they are a mix of different centers
Please let Bow in your house cats do love been inside & fussed 😊
Beau is a stray cat and probably has not had his rabies shots yet.
The Callanish stones in Scotland are 2000 years older than stonehenge.😁
Wow, that was some unboxing. As people have pointed out, the Flag is the Ensign to our Royal Air Force and the object that looks like a Target is called a Roundel. Some English Cider is noted for it's strength but it goes down really easy, especially on a hot day straight from The Fridge. Enjoy 👍👍
Laughing at the unboxing at the end it was like Mary poppins bag stuff just kept coming out 😂😂
Better hope the police dont ever come to your house with all those electronic scales they're going to suspect you have some major illegal substance operation going on.
nah, they will look at them and be like gram?! what tf is a gram haha
At least they have this video as evidence that they were all gifts!
😂 U read my mind
@@cancer_sucks Makes you wonder how they weigh & sell small quantities of illegal substances over there? 'Eh, yo Bro, can you hook me up with 1/100 of a cup of Charlie pls?'
@@cancer_sucksthat made me lol! Soooo true! 😂😂
Aww little Charlie is so cute cuddling in she just like a little baby 😊
Not sure the greatest team are meant to lose as much as they win 🤣
The custard goes with the sticky toffee pudding 😊 I love them both warm. Soooo good.
Scales cover both baking and fishing so your both covered lol
Put that Man Utd book in the loo in case you run out of loo paper ALAW
The Highland cow house slipper reaction had me in stitches
31:57 That looks like a fleece blanket.
What I've noticed with those, if it is freezing at night and your bed is really cold, placing a fleece blanket over you, and then covering yourself and the fleece with your bedsheets/duvet, removes that icy edge off making you far more comfortable. Kick it out of your bed when it gets too warm though.
I love your reactions to each and every gift especially anything to do with Highland Cows. ❤️🌹
Revels, yum yummy my favourite 😂❤️🇬🇧 oh and Devon’s custard in my opinion is the best tasting custard in the U.K.
Hi, JT & Anna. Thank you for a great video. It amde me happy seeing you two happy. Stay safe to you two and your pets. I hope you have many happy memories in your newe home. ❤
You need to have the foxes with tea!!! 100% the best. We live off them 😂
You will need to have a look into the west highland way, it’s one of the most amazing experiences and such beautiful scenery ❤
It's ViennEEse JT, as in people from Vienna in Austria... but biscuits lol
Kinda wishing I knew Lauren myself at the moment! She's a very generous soul and is obvously very taken by you two and how genuine and decent people you are. If you are reading this Lauren, I moved into my first owned home last april.... 😉🤣
😂😂😂
The flag is the ensign of the Royal Air Force flown at RAF airfields and buildings.
LET THAT CHUFFIN CAT IN.!!!
Our two fluffs love their cat flap definitely recommend one cheers from south London.
You have some kind and generous people looking out for you JT & Anna 👍🏻💕
RAF = Royal Air Force
Military fighter pilots basically ;)
R.A.F = The Royal Air Force is the United Kingdom's air and space force. It was formed towards the end of the First World War on 1 April 1918, becoming the first independent air force in the world, by merging the Royal Flying Corps and the Royal Naval Air Service.
Space force, rofl
@@daftgowk1if there's a suspicious "weather balloon" flying over sensitive locations in the UK at 120,000 feet it won't take days for the RAF to drop it from the sky 😂 and the RAF have antisatellite missiles too 🤫
The steamed puds are delicious - 1 minute full power microwave each one. Microwave separately.
The custard is creamy and delicious. Microwave 30 seconds at a time until hot, try not to boil.
Eat the 2 together - yummy!
Yes, Anna, you are the crazy cow lady - and we love it!❤
Those wooden sticks have a substance like cat nip. Scratch the surface with your finger nails to refresh the scent for him ❤
You need a book shelf
Thatchers is bloody lovely, and it's kay-tee, not catty!
Wow so much stuff it must of cost a fortune. So kind. Love the slippers and blanket. 😊
so what have we learnt?
if you want a fancy holiday or a new car all you need to do is mention it in your videos and thou shalt receive!!
They are not measuring cups, they are Jugs. The R A F Royal Air Force official flag. You see the target on RAF planes.
here in the US, they are called measuring cups, a jug is what a pint of beer comes in at Irish pubs in the US.
Really loved the picture of the Highland cow it was cool 😂
that last box was probably close to £100 worth of treasure.. maybe more!!
+ shipping that to US, probably not cheap with package that size and weight
I could not stop laughing when the scales kept coming out. I was literaly thinking of getting you one and the jug crazy. I'd suggest try all 4 and see which one is easier to use.
You just know Anna did a cheeky little Irish jig in those slippers after filming! You guys are too cute!!
I just love to watch your reactions and all your pets. You are so fun and honest. And it's a joy to have the privilege of spending time with u. What gr8 gifts. X❤
The cat loves the treats as it’s purring so it’s happy 😊
Yea that Thatchers Vintage goes down a treat, 6 of those and your in for a treat 🍻
I truely thought the last box was going to be a massive set of scales 😂
Your subscribers are so so generous, so much love in the world xx
It's the Royal Air Force ensign flown at all RAF airfields
This was a great video. The way JT pronounced Devon was hilarious. Anna's happiness was really sweet. xx
RAF = Royal Air Force
JT the Old Mout Kiwi and Lime cider is one of my favs, as you would say "it's FIRE", enjoy 👍
The target on the flag is the insignia of the RAF, Royal air force.
If you use any older British recipes with Imperial rather than metric measurements, it’s worth remembering that for liquids, while a US oz is almost identical to an Imperial fl oz, a US pint is 16 ozs whereas an Imperial pint is 20 fl oz… you might see too this if your new measuring jugs from the UK have both Imperial and metric measures. The knock-on is that gallons are similarly bigger (as both are based on 8 local sized pints to the gallon) although unlikely to matter for cooking and baking 😊
Aww I love Anna and all the Highland cows. At least if one scale breaks you now have spare ones 😂 can't wait for all the baking episodes. Tried the pumpkin bread so good and I don't like pumpkin 😂
I love watching your PO Box opening videos, love seeing your reactions, you guys need some measuring spoons too, that last box was certainly a BIG one, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
Guess the Kelly family will all be getting scales for Xmas
Revels, the genius lucky dip of chocolate treats. Nobody wants the coffee or toffee in my house
The coffee is my favourite and I hate the toffee 😂
I was annoyed when they took the peanuts out. I love the toffee , hate the coffee lol.
I love coffee flavoured in sweeties and toffee too. I've asked my eldest daughter to send me some Coffee Crisps as they're only sold in Canada (where she moved to in Sept.2019) but here in the UK only Toffee Crisps are sold.
(& I have trouble pronouncing "regularly" too!!)😊🇨🇦❤️🏴🖖
RAF ---Royal Air Force
Blue Riband, the greatest chocolate treat ever to grace the packed lunch box! Hi from Norfolk (where those amazing crisps are made :) ) The flag is a Royal Air Force (RAF) Flag :)
Royal Air Force flag guys, we thought it was a good idea to put a target on our planes!
we already had an advantage so it was to even the field I was told lol
Sticky toffee pudding is heaven on a plate
Add lashings of cream or even better!
OMG thank you for throwing regularly into the note 🤣🤣🤣
Great stuff! I enjoyed that box opening as much as you did. You have some very generous followers.
What a fantastic pile of gifts ,people love you guys as I do ,good luck with everything you do 😊😊xx❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🌺🦋🌺🦋🙏
Lol Maggie is going to claim those definitely lol 😂
💓 It's just like Christmas morning again. Love your reactions.
These videos are just the best ever. Love the reaction videos too of course but the PO Box opening and taste test videos you guys do are so entertaining. Keep up the good work, love from Northern Ireland.
1:27 reminds me of the *"scratch and sniff"* TV shows from back in the 80's. I don't know if you ever had those over there.
When cooking shows flashed up on screen *"scratch No 2 on your card NOW"* and you got the smell of whatever they were making. Freshly baked bread, Apple pie etc.. etc... lol
0:18..... that's what she said 🤣🤣🤣
I would love to see you both cook Yorkshire pudding and it will take a few tries to get them right x
Yep, I waiting very patiently 😊
