I can ensure that your vessel is painted to the exact quality that you are looking for and paying for. Please please please, get a paint survey done before you purchase anything. Well, please get a FULL yacht survey done, mechanical, electrical, structural, and coatings. Doing this will severely reduce the headaches that you will experience with owning a superyacht.
I would be looking closely at the broker you used on this charter. What due diligence did they do prior to recommending it to you? What is their responsibility?

That doctor your talking about, will probably be taxed 50%, $750K on that $1.5M you paid him only because he doesn't know how to legally not pay taxes. If your able to spend 1.2 million on a 2 week vacation you should be able to do the research to know if you’re chartering from a reputable owner. Seems like he went for a bigger boat at a lesser cost and didn’t like it. Then his wife posted something negative from the boat and the owner threatened them with legal consequences that they also agreed to in the contract that he didn’t READ.
Grant i will also say it’s sounds like your due diligence and brokers didn’t perform up to standards. You can blame the owner but it’s his second charter. You should have not taken the “Deal” and instead payed $1,750,000 and went to a more established owner and organization. Live and learn….🔥😁

My friend recently lost $5000 there. I invest crypto in real businesses like cannafarm ltd. I've never had any problems with it, unlike platforms like Binance or others. I'm just speaking from personal experience that it's better not to engage in market manipulation and rely on proven things.
