I'm just a normal everyday lady who feeds friendly wild foxes and squirrels that come to my garden. Under no circumstances am I trying to tame them as pets or allow them into my home. I am also NOT a fox rescue service. They turn up of their own free will. Being urban, food isn't always easy to find, as not many areas for them to hunt, so I like to try and help them a little if I can. They are not totally reliant on me and haven't lost the ability to hunt for themselves. I will give them medication when needed for mange, infections, and pain, but that is under the close eye of the fox experts 🦊
ChipChip, Cookie, Jimmy, Pip, Daphne, Ringo, and Howie are the seven regulars that arrive most evenings. Basil hasnt been seen since the end of November, just as mating season started 😪 But I live in the hope that he'll return one day 🤞
Biscuit was the first fox to befriend me back in 2021. Unfortunately she passed away Sept 1st 2023 and she is sadly missed by everyone who got to know her 😢❤️ I'd like to thank The Fox Angels Foundation and Second Chance Fox Rescue for all the help, support and advise with trying to help Biscuit. And the continued support they still give me. I can't thank you guys enough! 🦊🥰
Kenny and Norman, my two cats can be seen from time to time, plus there's Dave, the streetlight 🤣 Random cats, and not to forget the squirrels! ❤️ Plus, there's the badger! and sometimes a hedgehog!
I’m sure the foxes and other critters will be thrilled that you are home….especially Jimmy!!! 💙🌺
Simon is beautiful, the markings on his coat are lovely.He really remembers you Debs, how you cared for him and Magoo when they really needed help, and Jimmy and the others will be really glad you're home. They have missed you.😘😘😘😄😄😄🥰🥰🥰♥️♥️❣️🕵️🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊

From what Debs has said the most recent plan at Second Chance is that Lovely Simon will remain at the sanctuary because of his openness and lack of fear of Humans, not all of whom would show him the Kindness he’s known from Debs, Steve and company. 🦊❤️💕

Welcome back. Good decision to keep Simon back from the wild. Magoo's expression was like you seemed familiar to him, but he wasn't sure why. I wonder if he had some brain damage from being sick as a pup. I like spazgetti because i can get a whole mouthful on just one fork full. If you like sweet and sour and teriaki, then you'd probably like my fave, General Tso's Chicken.😋

Yes, foxes in general are very slim. The ones I feed are not so slim. But that is how they should be ❤

It’s pleasant and funny to see Simon playing with you and being petted by you, Deb! The swimming pool is a good idea, the foxes will like it and it will refresh and entertain them! By not releasing Simon, we will have the privilege and the opportunity to see him grow, it's great! ❤🦊♥️
I think Simon thinks Debs is his momma. ❤❤ Poor little Magoo is just more shy especially since he doesn't see Debs all the time and his seizures maybe has made him more scared.
I wish we could get a glimpse of Magoo. He was the smaller one and I'd like to see how he's getting on. He seems to be recluse. And that may be a good thing. Deb, I live in a fairly rural area where we have lots of wild foxes and coyotes etc, and a few years ago I found a pair of Red foxes had taken up residence inside of my abandoned dog kennel I built about 100 yds in back of my house. I had left the door open to the play yard, and the housing had a mud flap door befor the living area, so I guess the pair made their way in and approved of it. I built it with a hinged top similar to what the rescue place has on their boxes, and I could lift it and see the foxes. They never looked up, only toward the mud flap door, so they never saw me. I left them alone and never looked again. They were so beautiful to see up close like that. ben/ michigan

Morning den mum. Oh hi Karen, aww Simon is looking stunning his colouring has really come out. As always magoo is hiding. I'd love to see how big he's got now and his markings. Den mum you don't learn do you. The front end of precious is the sharp bitey end. You know the end that put a hole and infection in your finger lol. Keep your fingers out her mouth as them teefes are sharp and she's not afraid to use them. Even though she's being gentle. Its like she knows she hurt you last time and is being extra careful. Either that or Simon told her off for hurting his mum. Simon is to much of a mummy's boy. Would you look at that. Simon making it clear to everyone this is MY MUM. Not yours. I guess you have a pet fox den mum. And he's picked you. Your very lucky. Oh Simon your too cute holding your mum's hand with both paws and mouth and not wanting to let her go and still talking to you and telling you all about it. He's definitely still a mummys boy. You may have to play with the water with them show them it's fun. If the pool lasts that long lol xx
