- My furry companion, Nala, and I set out on a winter hike and enjoyed some fresh snowfall. Not everything went as planned, but it's always worth it spending time in the mountains.

Thank you for modeling turning around when you couldn't be sure where the trail was. It can be easier than you might think to lose the trail in the snow, and the falling snow can quickly fill in your tracks. Also phone batteries can drain from the cold. Not worth getting lost and putting you and Nala in danger. Beautiful fun joyful video as always. yay.

My baby would have loved all that snow and hiking too. (So would I) I cry when I get to a place like this.. I love it to hit my face in quarter size powder flakes. 🤗So exhilarating, Love to fall down in it now. 🤣

Hi, man great video! :) I will receive GR puppy (also female) this Sunday and I also enjoy hiking. I was wondering could you put the dog in your backpack (assuming you have a big backpack) if the hike becomes too hard for a dog?
Thanks man! Congrats on the new pup soon! You definitely can carry her in a backpack if needed. And usually it’s recommended to wait until puppies are a bit older before they do any sort of elevation hiking. It can be tough on their growing joints. But definitely can take her out and let her roam and carry her in a backpack! I’ve seen it done a lot. There are even carriers you can buy to carry her on the your chest.
