Corrections:
The game at 9:44 should be 'Sonic The Hedgehog (2006)' rather than 'Shadow the Hedgehog'.
At 9:21, the track is specifically the EU/JP version.
At 6:10, the game is specifically the Game Gear version.
At 1:55 I put the name of the stage, but the name of the song is equally right.
Also the video is actually from Sonic 1 to Team Sonic Racing, forgot it came out after Forces 😅.

I know that the theme "All Hail Shadow" came from Shadow The Hedgehog but the version you used in the video is actually the Sonic 06 version. I would know since I beat that game 100% and often listened to the soundtrack.

I was surprised to get 80% of this correct since it’s been so long since I’ve played many Sonic games.

@@aides9009been caught up with college a lot this year, especially with catching up after quarantine, so stuff like this isn't at the front of my mind rn. Not sure if I'll ever make another one but it's clear this is getting a lot of attention. If I find myself having a lot of free time over the summer I'll see if I can find some of the files I used for this and reuse them to make another one with different tracks, though I can't promise anything.

Uh-uh-uh… That version of “All Hail Shadow”, specifically, is from Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) by Crush 40. The one for Shadow the Hedgehog is the Magna-Fi version.

I used to love the DS version, it might have been my first Sonic game too. Never played the Wii version though, even as a kid I wasn't really a fan of the 3D boost formula.

There are a couple more classic songs like chemical plant, angel island, etc. that i would say are more iconic. However it would most likely depend on what generation you grew up in.

The Magnafi version (or whatever the name of the band is) is from Shadow the Hedgehog so he probably got confused
yeah the original is Shadow The Hedgehog, but he played the Crush 40 version. Which is good, because the Magna-Fi version is kinda bad

I feel proud that I knew each of these except for the Mega Collection menu and Turquoise Hill from Sonic Chaos. I even got the Sonic Labyrinth boss.

Man most of them I didn't know since I didn't really play much of the classic sonic titles. Just up to 3 and then some modern sonic titles
The only ones I got wrong were "Livin' in The City", the boss theme from Sonic Labyrinth, and that one TSR song (I knew it was a racing game, but not which one).
It's actually a remix of Can You Feel The Sunshine?.
I mean... That's one I got TECHNICALLY right. The song IS a form of "Can You Feel the Sunshine", but that's just not what it's called in game.

I can’t believe I missed egg reverie! This was a great time though, I missed turquoise hill and the labyrinth boss music as well as the chaotix music, which is kinda funny to me since I just missed out on my first time playing only yesterday since setting up the 32x is rocket science to me, haha. I never played much of team Sonic racing and I had no idea they had such a cool can you feel the sunshine mix, but I was able to guess the game at least!

I grew up playing Mega Collection Plus, but there's not much reason for anyone to go back to it or the original Mega Collection now when a lot of the games are better playable elsewhere, so it's completely understandable that you didn't get it hahaha.

Dang and I don't even play Sonic that much but I love the OST and I got 44 points, i gave .5 on the ones that were really close, like City Escape (Classic) I mistook for modern so that was a .5, and .5 because I thought Rooftop Run (Day) was Rooftop Run (Classic) for Generations. All in all, I did pretty well, this was very fun. Keep up the good work, dude!
We definitely have different music tastes, but also I haven't explored a good chunk of the many soundtracks this franchise has to offer. I only got 9 points. I would've put City Escape, Rooftop Run, and Sonic Boom on my list of the songs you played. Nice video, I had fun 👍
Definitely all great tracks! This video was mainly just some of the ones at my mind at the time, not necessarily a definitive list of my absolute favourites but rather just some of the songs from the series that I really like or find memorable. Glad you enjoyed it though!
I got most of these right. Including one from a game I haven't actually played (Rooftop Run from Sonic Unleashed, didn't have a 360 or PS3). But I choked on Chemical friggin Plant. And was half-convincrd you were pranking us with something from Phantasy Star Online with the Mega Collection menu 😆

Love the video and I'd love to see another one. Please don't focus so much on the classic, though. It's a shame this quiz had basically no themes from Adventure 1, 2, Shadow, '06, Black Knight, etc. We all know Green Hill and Chemical Plant by heart now, we've been running through the same zones for the past 10 years after all...
I did state at the begining that the first few were going to be very recognisable, but the lack of adventure tracks comes from the fact I just straight up haven't played them. I'm not really a big fan of any of the currently released 3D Sonic games personally, so I don't know much of the music, even if it's good. Stuff like Rooftop Run is only on here because its reputation sort of proceeds it. I'll keep that in mind if I do another one though and I'll scour around for some of the good songs from the games I haven't played.

I'm glad I own Sonic Labyrinth so I got everything right (except that Team Sonic Racing one but it was invalid because the game came out after Forces). I even got extra points for spotting all the mistakes and guessing the regions of the Sonic CD tracks.

9:40 that version of All Hail Shadow is from Sonic 06. In Shadow the Hedgehog, the song was done by Magna-Fi
Only one that messed me up was Labyrinth Boss, but I was able to get the rest. Almost got me with the Team Sonic Racing modpod.
Went into this like "Free, I'm a Sonic music connoisseur" and came out like "I'm a Sonic music hipster"
