What make these levels so good is that their challenging, but never unfair. They still remain fun and because of this it allows a player to continually play the level until they finally beat it, instead of just giving up.
@@Connor_Scandone Definitley. I had to cheat in the end to get around those flies. I kept pausing every couple of seconds to see where the flies were and plan how to get around them.
The only parts I hate are the classic completing the area then you see the puzzle piece appear and youre like: fuck and die to then on the next live try to catch the puzzle piece 😂😂

i thought the same but tbh I just think you and me both used the super kong and forgot about it. Cause I remembered I could never finish the golden temple even though it was way easier than some temple levels like world 6 and it was probably because it didn’t have the super kongs available
I’m currently playing through the 3DS version of this game. I’ve completed the temples for worlds 1-5 and have unlocked the ones for worlds 6 and 7, but haven’t beaten them yet. Not gunna lie, I don’t know if it’s really worth beating them as simply playing one of these levels gives me anxiety.
Not sure if you still play the game but a little thing I found out is that if you can unlock the world 8 temple you can definitely beat it, the world 8 levels are so tough especially to get the Kong letters but the temple is one of the easiest especially with the potions, plus you get tons of banana coins. Also atleast for me if you’re stuck on 8-2 it gets far easier after the checkpoint so keep that in mind
these levels were not what I was expecting, The most difficult was the 5th secret phase. I TOOK WEEKS TO COMPLETE THEM!!!! And also make the secret phases 100%. (I only found out about these phases I think in 2019 or in 2020)
I forgot this exist Goddamnit This one I hate the most My brothor showed me this which I haven't heard at the time he had time to play and get all the "KONG" letters and puzzle pieces And told me to finish the "run temple" it was not easy my hands were really badly hurt when I got to the 2-k from there it hurts like hell I have the saves lucky I was 7 at that time. I'm 14 I will finish this once and for all so I can play tropical freeze
1 - For some reason, I have a hard time with this one even though it doesn't look that painful. 2 - Not too bad, besides it has a barrel at the start so there's a safety net. 3 - Looks intimidating, but isn't too hard as long as you don't rush it. 4 - FUCK! THIS! LEVEL! 5 - Real nightmare, but Bopopolis from Tropical Freeze is this on steroids. 6 - God damn electrical things make this way harder than it has any right to be. 7 - Oh great, I always WANTED a fucking Tanked-Up Trouble redux! 8 - Not bad, but that last one gives me a coronary and a half. 9 - I fucking quit.
4 whole years late and youve probably figured it out but when you go to the start menu of a level before entering it there should be an option for mirror mode

jagged jewels is hard in mirror mode but without it it was fairly easy since you get diddy and 4x the health than in mirror mode

These are hard levels, which will push your timing and speed to their limits, and reward you handsomely if you win.
And then there is Shifty Smashers.
My favourite is Five Monkey Trial, because it's easy with the golden potion
