So smart using the picture frame wire! I drilled into our cast stone mantel because I was tired or the command strips failing. It works well but I wish I would have thought of the picture frame wire. Your fireplace is so grand. I love it!!! The way you styled it for Christmas is perfection. I can't wait for the next video!!!

The garland is a amazing! I have those same twinkle lights, just be aware that they only last about 3-4 days if you leave them on for 6 hrs at a time. You will feel like you are constantly changing batteries. (Because you are!😉)

You’ve given me inspiration to do something new on my mantle this year. I was wondering how you take it down to pack it for next year. Do you leave the zip ties in and just put it all in one big storage bin, or completely disassemble it?
That makes me so happy Diane! 😃 I will be taking it apart and removing the zip ties to store the garland. I find that my ribbons and garlands keep better when I store them separately. ❤️

So your ribbon is not really attached? It is just dipping in and out of the branches? It looks so secure and attached! Same with the bow you added. It looks like you just folded it and then tucked it in. You did not need to secure it with wire or anything? Thanks! Love your mantle!
Hi Heidi! Thank you so much! I do not attach the ribbon to anything. As long as it's tucked in nicely, the branches keep it secure. I do go into more detail on these techniques in my two ribbon tutorial videos if you're interested. ❤
What kind of lights r those and how do u put the light in the garland
Hi Nedra! Thanks for asking! Those are twinkle lights that I found on amazon. I have them linked in the description box if you are interested in those particular ones, but any battery operated twinkle lights will do.
To place them in the garland, I just weave them throughout, lightly tucking them into the garland as I go. I usually start from one side and use a vertical zigzag pattern to evenly distribute the lights throughout. I hope that is helpful. Happy Decorating! ❤️
