- Backroads can be an excellent way to ride your motorcycle. In this video I make my way to @mikebrunosnorthshoreharley to have them service my bike...but I got way more than I expected....

Hell when Im in my car 90% of the time, I take back road. I dislike main and highways with a passion. So when Im on my bike 95% of the time I am on the back roads. Simply as well I am more comfortable on back roads. Nice video.
I moved to a new area in Texas 3 years ago and haven't found any roads to ride where I feel comfortable going down plus they all seem to lead back to a freeway of some kind. This has left me feeling more depressed than usual. I moved from the Galveston Island area. Great back roads to ride. But my husband died nearly 5 yrs ago and I bought a new to me trike because I'm older & have a hard time holding 2 wheels up. But as I said since moving away I stopped riding because of the area roads and no connections with others that ride being a nearly 70 yr old. So I'm giving up and selling my trike. I feel sad but just don't get the thrill of the ride anymore. Stay safe y'all, enjoy the road.❤😊
I wouldn't give up. Just plan a ride somewhere there is good back roads periodically 😊
What region do you live in now? Texas can be very flat, as you know, but there are some beautiful areas all over.. Check calimoto as well!
@@ZoahPorre @JustGKue Near old Fort Hood now Fort Cavazos. The hills are beautiful but all the roads I’ve tried lead to more frwys or the base. I’ll look into it. Thanks. Between Galveston and points west along the coast are some really great backroads. My husband & I would ride those as often as we could. Even took the ferry east to Beaumont. Took a couple trips from Galveston to Ohio on his H-D. I’m not experienced at all riding in a group, so I wouldn’t begin to think about inviting myself on an outing. G Kue’s last video about a hard truth is mainly what made me decide to give up riding. I’M NOT BLAMING HIM!!! I just took what he said to heart. And I don’t want to put anyone at risk whilst riding.

I enjoy backroads too but they come with their faults. Such as animals, blind driveways, less cell phone reception in case of emergency but again back roads are fun because you usually get more curves and are away from the cagers and you find the best mom and pop shops, restaurants, and the most interesting scenery, and people our great country has to offer. Keep your head on a swivel and have fun!

Last October, I left Pidgeon Forge, Tn. and rode 2 lane hwys all the way back to Memphis. A little over 500 miles and 11 hours and I loved every mile.

if you ever see me it will be on the backroads of the north shore. ever since we moved up here 4 years ago I love all the beautiful roads up towards amite area all the way back down towards slidell.
My plan was to take everyone to abita springs and back but the sheriff wanted me to use the entire motor unit division.

Ong, since a kid I been raised to drive on the back road lol my pops did that for other reasons but now that I’m older I do it just to by pass traffic and drive at my own pace think about life enjoy my music, stop at a workout park… that be the best man.

plus, back roads are generally just safer. Give me 2 lanes and 55 MPH every day of the week. I get out of the city as soon as possible

75% of my riding is backroads. A lot of the time I’ll turn off on backroads I see that I’ve never been on. Mainly because when I ride there’s no destination but home at the end. #lovelifelive

I like riding on the north shore, but I can’t lie…after working outside all week, I just don’t enjoy my bike as much in the summer. Nothing hotter than a NOLA red light during hurricane season.

I have two questions for you GKue:
1) To me, you seem to focus heavily on keeping your voiceovers unique regarding word usage. You try not to repeat the same adjectives in the same video. Would you agree?
2) Do the alligators keep the roadkill off the roads? Do you see much alligator roadkill in Louisiana?
