The only problem Universal Android Debloater has that it was last updated in July 2022. Quite outdated considering the fact that companies keep changing their bloat packages regularly.
I did this after watching the video works incredibly fast and intuitively. One heads up can remove file Explorer so just double check before running. [easily restored so no harsh penalty for making a mistake]
The problem also lies where the drop down says Recommended. What does that mean? The recommended apps to uninstall? There are a lot of them listed there. There should be a "For Sure" option for the certain to remove.
Another useful feature would have been to make custom profiles.. LEt's say I go through the long list of recommended then can save my own list to debloat all other Android devices in house
The sounds excellent for me to attack my bloated. Samsung S23. however, first I am most concerned about figuring out how to do a system image backup and restoration of my phone. that way in case any of the boxes I took with this debloater program.l Calls some necessary basic functionality to stop working, it's an easy quick restoration back to stock. Then I can figure out what went wrong period In Linuxomint cinnamon, I tiptly would do a time shift snapshot creation and using fox clown, a system image back up or full disk clone.
Graphene isn't even a relevant topic here. It's fully ungoogled os, whereas this is just removing extra bloat while still keeping all the basic services.
Hey Chris, do you have a peertube-channel as well? I am trying to get rid of my RUclips-Account and watch my content there and I would be a pity to not see you there around.
I'm currently using an Oukitel that I manually stripped down, but it still has the Google virus. That said, after watching this I found myself missing my WIN8 phone. I never had any issues with it or the battery life.
I made a custom adb uninstall/disable list I run for my S21. My phone is mine. Try the debloater, it's the same idea but automated and without half a day of looking up package lists and not accidentally deleting important system functions.
Universal Android Debloater is absolutely AWESOME!! Even using grapheneos or lineageos, I can strip out something I don't want easily.
I've used it before many time. It's just so convenient and pretty much automates the whole task.

There is already a new fork with latest release since 4 days ago

Restored? Like system restore (if thats even possible) ? Or just reinstall it back?
I wish someone also could debloat Google company all together...
yeah this is a must-have
Using it for one year, but you need to pay attention over what you gonna uninstall from your profile.

Looks cool. I'll be getting a new phone soon so I'll run it on that before I put any of my stuff on it.

Since my old phone I only use as a backup can't install those alternative ROMs (it's a Samsung J7 Pop) I might try that

Really shoukd put the github link in the description
Why not just using Graphene OS? It sounds like its even less work to set up
Graphene requires a pixel device, this works for almost any android device.

Do you simply disable those apps (default) or change your settings to remove them?
Disable
Android debloater is called LineageOS ;-)
But it also supports close to no phones
@@ToastedHeadcrabgo to their website, check supported phones and say it again 🤣
@@livemadseason compare to the amount of android phones out there it's close to none
@@ToastedHeadcrabWhatever you say 🙂
Shut up.
Are you sure this has nothing to do with those that want to look?
wheres the link at in the chat/video to download it
I just tried lineageOS on a pixel.... decided to skip gapps.. other than a few minor bugs.. i like it, should have done it sooner.
The only reason to have a pixel is to install GrapheneOS 🧐
Sir is there a way to install grapheneOS on any Xiaomi Android phones. I have a Xiaomi Mi A3 (Android 11 stock rom).
no
Lineage microg website. Not exactly graphene, but close.
Every time we go on vacation my wife take 50 travel bags.
why did you leave this as a comment? do you want a divorce?
Maybe his wife is a little bloated
And that has WHAT to do with Chris's video?
Could use this on mine Pixel 3A and my mother has an older android dinosaur could super use this.
How does this compare to grapheneOS ? If you haven't tried it you Def should !
GrapheneOS is only on Pixel devices
Really? lol , it does not compare at all.
Thank you so much!

The only real debloat is GrapheneOS. Alternatively, LineageOS.
Other ways, such as this one, are just attempts.
i used this on my phone, it's increadble!
