Whenever they harass with aircraft and choppers i do the john cena or dude love knee twist from wwe. Hulk Hogan flexes or degeneration X suck it symbols. Walk like egyption. Moon walk. Robot dance. Freeze frame. Act sketchy. But never threatening or scared. Always disco stew from simpsons. #alexjones #timpool #joerogan
this is very addictive, I can't stop watching it, it's very impressive how David can constantly maintain symmetry throughout his body, God save talking heads
Funk legend Bernie Worrel playing that. Byrne had excellent taste in sidemen. Check out Talking Heads Live in Rome in Rome 1980 with Bernie on keys and Adrian Belew on guitar.
My daughter and I went to see "Stop Making Sense" the other day and it was absolutely wonderful! As a child of the 80s I knew their hits but not the rest of their library and was very impressed with their funk and talent and the fact that no two songs were alike. Loved it!
Nobody else could pull that off. The whole concert was David's creation, each song was an artistic piece as well as brilliant music. The whole band as was so together. But his performances for each song was very thought out. Genius at work.
The things you like in life are what you should hold onto, not the bad. I've looked 5 yrs to get the artist & name of this song! It rocks for me ! Thank You, & Juan for singer's name, flor posting best vid of t hem!!
There's something rather "North American work ethic" about that dance. I couldn't imagine a British band doing all that jigging about. They just couldn't be arsed!
The big band is just way over the top- not my taste… I FAR preferred the four piece unit (and I’m very grateful to have seen them in 1978). I’d rather see DB play guitar than do his little kitschy dance act.
" No time for dancin' "
* starts dancing *
This whole song and performance is all about that irony
"...20 years of dance lessons, you're about to see the result"
-David Byrne
😂😂😂
This is the perfect summary of the Talking Heads.

Comment above me is really the epitome of "talking a whole lot, but (you're) not saying anything"

Cocaine is one helluva drug
Exactly!!
And may Your God(s) bless You!
Bye Good Soul
Con el palo del micro se nota más la simetría, es espeluznante
The jogging and synth solo is what seals the deal for me
Me too 👎

A artistic piece? As apossed to what?
@@lukecockburn1140 Something about normal human emotions, like Springsteen and the Beatles did. Not art school stuff.
Nah he needed that whole band. They each were brilliant. He couldn't have done it without them.
@@ZombiesvRobots Yeah, completely agree, my comment did make it sound like the whole band was not important. The whole thing was so well done.
His dance is pretty funny. But when it turns into a Zumba video shit gets real
Byrne's dancing just kills me.
Nice pfp, love Kid A
I guess it isnt just me with the Radiohead-Talking Heads pipeline
Me: I need to get more sleep
Also me at 2am:
The cardio on this guy is unbelievable
I watch this once a day. It's hypnotic.
I agree
this is such a flawless performance
The brides of funkenstein are a gas through this whole concert. A thoroughly unified performance by everyone. So many watches over the years.
imagine some day aliens come across earth and this video clip is the only remaining evidence that humans existed
gods help us all.
they'd say "mankind were really awesome, how is that they did go extinct?"
That would be best case scenario
I can’t stop watching this. David Byrne is a unique performance artist.
Incredible still keeping the notes perfect, while half winded I love it
I’m convinced this is where the animation for squidward’s dance moves in SpongeBob came from
My guy's legs were hitting different time zones
they should cast cillian murphy to play him!
I never realized that he kinda is the spitting image of David, holy cow
DB, the OG Squidward Dance
They dance waaaaay better than me.
Tina is so awesome.
I'm not the only one who's mesmerized it seems
Thaaaaaaast’s why homeboy in “There Will Be Blood” looked so familiar!
We need a ten-hour loop of just this
The bassline is overlooked, so addictive 😤
He really broke it down for us like that
I love the backing singers to they're so into it 😂
I am so in love with this man

Oh fuck
Autism be damned, my boy can dance
Try watching the movie "True Stories", and see how that pre-conceived utopia works out.
It's so entertaining to watch
David Byrne is something else
You can see where Daði Freyr get his influences from in this I think. His video for Think about Things is pure talking heads.
That's exactly what I thought when I saw this 😊
Bernie Worrell on synthesizer, The Brides, ........Parliament-Funkadelic all up in that piece!
I love this song and dance so much!
This is so groovy
This video is 10 years old and I’m thankful it pushed me to see the Talking Heads -Life During Wartime - Cool/Funny Dance in theatre 🙂
Fantastic!!
WOW!!
me and the boys summoning Satan
Connor McGregor warm up before a fight.🤣
this is the only way to dance to talking heads
Kinda thought it was cillian Murphy for a split second 🤣

I AM IN LOVE WITH HIM
Me too!
When asked about this:
I just had to pee really badly.
This song was lifted from Disco Inferno by the Trammps
De la cintura para abajo pareciera que tiene vida propia jajaj
My last braincell working overtime
♥️🔥
PATRICK BATEMAAN :3
I think he took some inspiration from Ian Curtis
I think Thom Yorke was very influenced by David Byrne. It looks like Lotes Flower dance in some ways
Ok but, very sexy is David Byrne

You should see Jacob Collier perform live then holy flippy floppy.
hilariously incredible 🤍 he dances as though strings are attached to his limbs
Thank you!
i came too this
silly goofy dance hes such a ninompoop!
I need this emote
What the hell was he doing
Being the most epic human being on this planet
Pretty sure that’s 99% Toni Basil’s choreography.

Which concert is this?

@@user-hk6bv7ph5s you stop making sense 🐔

Stop Making Sense
This sounded like Roxy music
Probably Brian Eno's influence.

This song would fit perfectly with that Wednesday dance scene that's been going around RUclips lately
Anyone else from 1975?
Stealing my moves again
This makes me incredibly angry for some reason lmfao
