    Couldn’t agree with Melo more about the social media thing and if that Denver team was around today. Those players alone, if they were in this era, would’ve made Denver into a big market.
    Singlehandedly.

    • @alfredmcglothen6050
      @alfredmcglothen6050 4 года назад +8

      I agree. I forgot about all those cast of characters and if social media was as big as it is today then, that team would’ve had a lot more pub . I enjoyed watching that team at that time . They could score with the best of them especially when they had Melo and A.I. , but they couldn’t stop anyone . Their best chance probably was 2009 when they got Chancey Billups , but they ran into Kobe and that was it for that . I am glad JJ Reddick brought that team up because that is a forgotten team in history. Love his podcast. Great interview .

    I don’t care what anybody says, as a lifelong Nuggets fan I will always have love for Carmelo! He’s the one that got me into basketball in the first place and I don’t understand the hate he still gets in Denver, it makes me really sad.

      Exactly me too! The Nuggets were never good in my lifetime before Melo came to town, and they proceeded to make 7 straight playoff appearances. People hate him for the way he left, but I will always appreciate his time there.

    Chauncey first year in Denver was like Chris Paul's first year in Houston they were both high iq point guards who can change the tempo,run proper plays and help the lesser scorers on the team while letting the star player have the greenlight at times while also making sure they don't go too much overboard
