Guys a great instructor. People think just cause they can drive a normal manual they can hop in these trucks and take off. It’s def not that simple. He’s getting there tho. Good job.
When doing my CDL road test....in 10th gear at 60mph on the interstate ...when coming to the exit I missed my gear trying to slow down on the exit ramp, had cars all around me and had to do a roadside stop to reset. (Nerves) Would you please🙏 make a video about exiting off the interstate safely from 10th gear, how to downshift when coming to a stop or light at the bottom? Thank you for your videos!!!!
Badass instructor love the videos more people need to see theses and even seeing the rpms in the videos give new drivers info on how to down shift and up shift awesome videos man good job !!!

I have a question. In your experience. What is the mpr range for a 13 gear transmission ?? Getting ready to jump into a 13 gear. I appreciate you . Be save our there.
My teacher is pregnant and she gets pissed and sighs and heaves at every single mistake I make and throws her hand like I'm dumb. Making me feel dumb and then leads me into a chain reaction of failure pushing my clutch and everything and forget what gear I'm in because she can't keep her cool. Your calm. And understanding.
I just got my class A almost entirely because of your videos. Do you have a Patreon or Paypal or anything where I can send you something to say thanks?
To downshift from 9th gear to 8th gear, its about 35 mph. Look at it like 3+5=8. (8th gear), that's to get to 8th gear. And so on. Example, 8th to 7th gear is about 25 mph. 2+5=7 (7th gear) 7th to 6th gear is about 15 mph. 1+5=6 (6th gear). It's a helpful tool you should get the idea.

5th gear you need to be at 10 mph. And small rev like if rpms drop to 900 rev it to only 1000 or 1100. If you're going fast like 12 mph you can even go to 5th but it has to be a higher rpm like 13 or 1400. At that speed of around 12 mph choose 6th gear which is a lower rpm.
@@mikehayes5167 Nope. Never had but it will be different. For turns, for as low as 5 mph in an 8 speed, I've heard to try 3rd gear. If not try 2nd gear.

When I’m releasing the clutch do I give the truck gas also so it can stop jerking??
