aren't Emily and Mackenyu caught up on the manga? and I think Inaki posted something about catching up back when he was announced as Luffy and there were OP volumes and other merch behind him, so he probably also read the manga. Jacob and Taz didn't really talk much about how far they are so I would guess that they only really know about what their characters are about and not much more
I’m ngl, sure the live action has its minor issues, but I’m just so happy that it exists. And that it’s getting so much attention and praise. People in my life who know nothing about anime are reaching out to me about it, wondering what it is, where they can find the “novels” (yes, they said “novels”). The cast and production team all seem to be so passionate about the source material, and it’s evidently contagious through the work they put out and all the media surrounding it. My admiration for One Piece never needed any reinforcement, but the past week has certainly provided plenty of it. I love this series
This cast was great as the Straw Hats & from what I learned Emily & Mackenyu are huge fans even before being casted (with Emily wanting to play Nami), Inaki knew of One Piece but got really into the series when he was casted as Luffy, but as for Jacob & Taz I don’t know but they seem like big fans of the series
Sanjis first rule even above his food rules is not hitting a woman. Plenty of times he has let Luffy stay hungry as a punishment for breaking into the food supplies, but not hitting a woman is a rule he is so adamant about that it caused him a full on existential crisis just thinking that he had broken that rule.
1:13 She is a massive One Piece nerd, Briggo. In fact, there's a pic of her with orange hair holding a snicker from way before the series started that almost everyone has seen at this point, that was her way of lobbying online to get to play Nami. And it seems it worked, because she ended up as Matt Owens's +1 to the premiere of Film Red (where Roger met Matt), when we still knew nothing about the cast
Emily Rudd is a fan through and through love to see it plus the other members but she was on it plus Zoro's actor gave the hardest answer lmao anyways this was dope as well
Yamato is a woman that fangirled over Oden so much she started using male(ish) pronouns. As far as I know Japanese doesn’t have gender specific pronouns like most western languages, its just that certain pronouns are generally preferred by men or women.
I thought the fact Jacob didn’t refer to Usopp as god Usopp leads me to believe he isnt up to dressrosa yet? I know he’s been an op fan for a while I think so maybe I’m wrong
Yamato is a girl but she loves oden so much that she wants to become oden to the point that she starts to use male pronouns, so yamato is essentially an insane fangirl who loves who oden was when she watch oden bathe in a pool of lava until he was shot. Its basicly comparing a girl who has the hots for harry styles from one direction.
This is the first time I've watched briggs outside of videos with Tekking and "sanji is my favorite character... but zoro is stronger" was the most refreshing take I've ever heard lol
@@jonathantalley6110 To me it’s weird that you even think like that how old are you 14 ? I mean it’s highly impractical to ask the actors to watch that much episodes just to do some roles and if you were the guy in charge of casting there’s no way you would find people who watched all of one piece and also happened to be good actors if you were only searching for that you wouldn’t be able to make the show cause you have an unrealistic requirement and I would say it’s better for the actors to not be caught up and only focus on the arcs they’re actually working on to keep them focused on what they have right now instead of being distracted by what happens to their characters later on Taz Skylar probably still doesn’t know that his character would be forced by drag queens to wear a dress and lipstick and he doesn’t need to know that he needs to still think his character will be cool forever so he can focus on east blue Sanji
How are they in episode 1065 and dont know Jimbei joined the crew, their answers are off to me, Sanji knows that zeff ate his foot (manga version) but also cant answer simple questions, Usopp doesnt seem to have ever seen the Doflamingo Arc !
@@11iamuyam because they know about the roof piece. Jimbei had already joined the crew before the raid. From this video they know about Yamato and kaido vs Luffy
Taz knows about Zeff because obviously that’s what happened in the live action as well? and knowing how many episodes are in an anime is easier than knowing a certain plot of said anime, especially if it’s so easily spoiled and all you see on twitter every week is hashtag trending for one piece episode 1000 something. So they must definitely haven’t caught up, but they still know how many episodes or chapters the series has.
Zoro and Nami are caught up to the anime I think, while Inaki seems far but maybe not caught up
Dropping Rocks name, he has some knowledge

If the live action doesn’t continue tell Marian Ford I’ll riot
I love the series so much as well and that's great people are reaching out to you about the manga and such @ramenpower8097

Sabo, favorite food is canonically Ramen and he was voiced by the same VA as Naruto before his tragic death. :(
This is why this show works. These actors actually love the show and embody their characters

Perfectly said
Inaki said Rocks D. Lmao

Id say it be more impressive if they weren't. But definitely hope they watched and enjoyed the manga and or anime.
I think they are trying to not spoil people to much 😂 ( Emily particularly with that Jimbe answer ! I know she knows !)
Wait hold up. They know Luffy and Buggy are Yonkos but they say Jinbe hasn’t officially joined the crew yet?
They must not be caught up
Mightve been spoiled on the emperors, a lot of my friends unfortunately got it spoiled
Kinda giving away a lot of plot points for newbies to the story ;)
Kinda wild that it wasn’t mandatory to be caught up I mean it’s long but like it became their job
Honestly probably better for LUFFY not to be caught up
That’s not how acting works buddy

Nami’s Actor Does
Technically, Nami's tattoo is a mikan, not a tangerine
Mikan is tangerine…

Zoro without all his 3 swords would get fodderiezed by Sanji
