Border control is typically all about stopping things from entering a country, not stopping them from leaving. One thing I've never understood about the so-called border crisis. In most cases (Canada/US included), there never really is much of an "exiting the country" customs process. Border control is typically all about stopping things from entering a country, not stopping them from leaving. If the US is worried about illegal immigrants and fentanyl entering the country, shouldn't it be the primary responsibility of *US* customs to prevent it? Why is this being spun into Canada's failure to secure the border, when in fact it is that of the US?
