The instructions in the book are useless!!!
My wife just bought the My Way 2 for christmas, so on Christmas morning after watching your excellent video, will not have to read the instruction book, Hurrah !!!!!!!
Great review, I’ve just bought a Cream one for £77 on Amazon. My previous Tassimo gave up yesterday after 5 years of constant use 24/7, it never missed a beat, I can’t wait to get started with the My Way 2. I think the reason the coffee doesn’t “dissolve” is that it is the used coffee grounds left behind, they can be used more than once, but the coffee will lose intensity after each pass. Tassimo & Bosch thoroughly recommended.

Great video! When needing a bit of a top up of the cup, you say you can press the tear drop, does that require the disc to be in the machine… also do you have to press it again in order to stop the machine again?
You need to press the read drop button soon after it stops pouring first time before the light goes out. Hold it until required amount is in cup then let go . Paul
Is my way better than my way 2 Also does the tassimo my way and my way 2 have boost? How many cups can you make in my way compared to my way 2 also can you recycle the pods normally or do you have to use to pod back bags to recycle properly?. Also what is the extra filter for?.
They are the same machine, except for the Britta water filter the my way to allows you to alter the temperature amount and strength of the coffee manually outside of how the barcode set things up
They make about the same noise the different seems to be how are you position please coffee machines on your unit try some different places try running with your hands on it and see if that’s quieter it could just be vibration
Might sound like a silly question but ... how does the "Strength" selection work ?.. Surely the strength is defined by the coffee grinds/blend in the pod ? Cheers in advance 👍 BTW these Bosch machines are amazing value for money, I had my first Bosch Tassimo last 10 years before it finally gave up the ghost ... used it once a day every day !!!

@Stef L. Sure, the filter holder is a separate slide in piece of plastic which you can remove, so if you’re using water you’ve already filtered then just leave it out. The advantage you have is that you’ve saved the cost of the extra (expensive) filter.
I have purchased a My Way 2 but cannot get the manual adjustments to work on the touch pad. Is my machine faulty? I have filled water , plugged in, lifted lid, placed pod in with bar code down, closed lid. Then I think the touch pad should allow me to adjust coffee strength, temperature and cup size but mine doesn't work. Can you advise me please.

Great review, thank you. I wonder how the intensity works. There is so much coffee in a pod. So, if you use the weaker setting, does the machine extract less coffee from the pod? Or full intensity, it uses the whole pod? I’m going to buy one but just wondered how this works.

No just warm water. You will eventually need to a decalcification clean when the red light come on. Then you mix the special tablet with water in the tank. I have a seperate video on that - Paul
Which would produce a stronger latte the double shot or the L'OR macchiato latte which one of these have a a bigger strength over the other apparently I heard Marc is stronger but I don't know and if pealle are using the my way system is there any difference if you use double shot on full strength mode I guess it adds more presure or something to get more flavour from it

Thought mine was broken, turns out there was a poec of dust on the barcode scanner,I blew it off and it worked!

No, you don’t need to change that every other day you can leave it in there ready for the next drink

Good question! Its runs the water through slower. Same heat and BAR pressure.

Im guessing different pressure, it does seem to work though

I found the coffee tastes odd I removed the filter and the coffee tastes awesome
