The insulation on the coils windings can persish and break down over time and cause failure, in the good old days they were coated with organic shellac which was susebtible to damp and ageing.
Thank you for watching mate cylinder mowers are a bit more of a pain then the rotary ones lol iv still got 3 of them to do haha look forward to seeing you sorting yours out mate
Nice one mate good job mate. Got the same type plug lead on the seagul engine I have mate. I will get the parts for it yet and get it started. It's like that in my Garden bit of a bog at the bottom we are the end house and it's a slight hill so I suppose the water just runs down into it.👍
Where can i buy the cup from and i got no spark also do i need a coil i have a suffolf punch with a starter motor which used to start with a key also my blades have seized due to it being sitting in the rain
hello this is the set i have www.amazon.co.uk/Puller-Bearing-Removal-Internal-External/dp/B01CIEUXQQ/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=Gear+Puller+set&qid=1621720121&sr=8-6 thank you
I’ve managed to remove it by gently tapping the rear side of flywheel outwards, tapping twice or three times gently on each side (front and rear of wheel) and it just popped off. Good luck.

Is the knock ✊ the small end bearing? @MicksMowers have just given me a idea 💡 a couple of 🍻
How do I remove the flywheel without a pulling tool ? Is there any other way please
