Loved it, reminded me of my younger years hunting ducks in my native country. Cuba.
Great content, awesome catch and cook! Great to see Maggie in a video again, you two make a great team, thanks for sharing! See you on the next one!👍🏾🙌🏾👌🏾👏🏾
Thanks for watching!!
Such a great example of a sportsman. Love the content. Keep being a great example for the younger generations. We have limits and regulations to maintain healthy ecosystems. Keep these things around for your kids and grandkids. It matters.
i love the home vlog + maggie feel vids!
Thank you!
Justin, you and momma need to adopt a bird dog , get a pup and train it to find and retrieve. Saves so much time. Great content vid, keep it coming
What dog would you recommend?
I have a litter of German wirehair pointers. And I would probably donate him one
This is what you call Florida Fly Fishing ha ha! Sweet video!
“If it flies it dies, if it crawls it boils.” - as they say in Louisiana
Good episode. Something different for you. I enjoyed it.
this is going to bring the channel to the next level good stuff man many blessings
Thank you! Share the vid!
Love the hunting videos! Keep them coming.
Great Video Justin! Those snipes always scare me when we go tilapia casting 😂 they fly away super fast.
yes yes more videos like these please
Another awesome video Justin!! Love the content.🙏👏
Justin, you should do well using “high brass” 7 1/2 steel. It has more powder/ power/better
distance takedowns. Imp. Cylinder choke. Good luck
Next season will give it a shot!
Fla Garter snake. Plus try using #6 bird shot!
Great video!! Nice change up. I enjoyed this video!
Regarding growing vegetables, you did good. According to data in the Tampa area. This has been the cloudiest winter in 84 years. Not coldest. Cloudiest.
That garden is kinda sick 😭
Great video !
Nice job Justin! Great content looks like the St. John’s!
I'm kinda sad this video doesnt have more views. This looks like a lot of fun! Really wanna try it out one day soon. I wonder if youtube throttles the guns.
Just share with a friend who might enjoy this type of video. My audience isnt the right audience for this type of video.
@@justin_menendez will do!
A good idea if your gonna do any type of bird hunting it’s a good idea to invest in a vest that has a pouch in the back so your not having to stuff pockets and having to keep waking back to the boat and you can put your shells in the front pockets for quick access and when shooting birds lead your shot in front of the bird so they fly into the shot just opinion
Have you ever tried patterning those different shells out of your shotgun? In my experience, there can be a huge amount of variation in the way one person’s shotgun patterns the same type of shells vs someone else’s shotgun, conversely your shotgun may pattern certain types of shells really well vs another type patterns really poorly. Sometimes even just the brand can male a difference, i.e. #7 shells made by Winchester vs #7 made by Federal, even if the shell length, shot weight, and powder load are all supposedly the same on paper.
If it were me, considering your experience I’d say those #4 shells you used on day one probably pattern perfectly to your natural point of aim with that shotgun and I’d suggest only stocking up on that specific brand of #4 shells from now on. At least as long as you keep using that specific shotgun.
If you ever replace the gun then you may have to start from scratch again
Great video, What area you hunting?
Dope apron!!! 😎
Man,, I really loved duck hunting here in Middle Tennessee. Moving to the Florida Panhandle. I wonder if there are Snipe there?
Yes i i believe they are all over the US. They migrate.
Cali snipe hunter here. Question, are there any gators in this area? I wanna do a Florida hunt
Yes there can be alligators anywhere around freshwater in florida. I didnt happen to see any though.
If you do want to go up in shot size they sell Teal Steel in size 5 and 6. 6 would probably be a good shot size. I think 4's would be too low of a pellet count and overkill. Chokes can make a big difference as well.
Yeah Im definitely going to spend a lot of time testing different ammos this offseason and shooting clays but I gotta order those shot sizes. It was impossible to find 6 shot in stores during duck season.
@@justin_menendez Practice is the biggest difference maker. Steel has been hard to find the last few years. I shoot mostly bismuth for ducks but mix in some steel and the biggest differentiator is how I'm shooting. If I'm off it's time to sharpen up the form. Practicing a smooth mount helps too if there isn't time to get to the range. Cheers and good luck!
Just FYI steel shot is not required for snipe hunting. Don't ask why, but its not. Just buy some #8 bird shot.@@justin_menendez
Saw the instagram post when are we seeing the new boat
A few months and it will be done👍🏼
Ohhh so that’s a snipe hunt
Losing snipe is part of snipe hunting my dude. It sucks but you just gotta remember the swamp will reclaim any and all animals. Something will eat it.
First like and comment !!
thanks!
So we're in silver
Nooo good aim
