I just love how real you are I enjoy watching you and you're so honest and real and you don't make it look like you make a whole lot of money I appreciate you
I don't :) I can only afford to do this at the moment thanks to the kind support of the crafty gang, several generous supplies and a little income from RUclips..... and my pension lol. I'm just having huge fun and enjoying making so many crafty friends on the way
There's a brand of flakes called "creative expressions cosmic shimmer" that has interesting mixed color gilding flakes in jars. I have several of these mixes because I'm obsessed with how pretty they are. Some are reminiscent of autumn, and some of other things, and pretty names like "summer medow". I also have a mix of gilding sheets in vivid colors I'm anxious to try. You always find the most interesting things❤
They are lovely. I just had to show everyone. The video i have premiering on Monday, with live chat too, will be doing something I really love with those flakes :)
😂 Gilding yourself! They are beautifully smooth!! People will just say anything, won't they!! Keep up the great work!! I enjoy watching your videos! And I will stick with my volume resin, too! Who knows where my scale is...😊
Haha thanks. I so wanted to put the Goldfinger theme over this but I don't think RUclips would stand for it :) Yeh scales have numbers on. I don't do numbers lol
@@miniscenesgb that rose gold is absolutely fabulous for sure (I'm partial to rose gold!), and I love the M and N with how the color transitioned in them, and the whites look pearlesque.
Ah well hold that thought - I have something in curing right now using them on an autumn theme. If it goes to plan it will be my Monday premiere as I already have something lined up for my Saturday one :)
I wonder if rubbing your gloves and the areas around the outer edge of the mold with dryer softener sheets would help with the crazy static cling of this stuff. I imagine it'd be of use with some types of flyaway glitters too.
Oh wow, I love the U and the T. They are all very pretty but those are my favorites. The new ones appear more delicate, if that makes sense. Thank you for the video.
I think they might be, though simply because they are not scrunched. Possibly, I'm not sure. I'm very impressed with them and I've found the Crater's Companion website has a drop down for other countries too so these should be available in the USA and other countries too
I wondered what people used those letters for and a Keychain is a wonderful idea! I like seeing projects that need a bit of cleaning up and how you go about it. It is super helpful for us beginners!!
Lovely gliding flakes, Ms Tracey. Both the flakes have different and amazing effects and Lovely alphabet charms,Ms Tracey, I also have worked with them ,they just add that charm and shine to your arts❤️😍😇❤Thank you for wonderful video 🙏💜
Hi Tracey these foils seem interesting , I was watching you and saying please paint the mould with them 😂 before you did 😂, love how shinny they are 😍, thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
They are pretty impressive, I just had to show everyone. the next video I did more of that. The one that will Premiere on Monday is a step further with those flakes too, I just demoulded it :)
Crafter companion has been selling these for a couple of years. They sell them in collections of 3. I have the full collection, they are fantastic. The verdigris is one of my favourites.
Yes :) I'd just not seen them before as that store doesn't sell materials for the crafts I so usually - so saw these in the mixed media area. I will be getting the rest of the range while they still have them on offer :)
Greetings from Tucson, Arizona USA. Just discovering your channel and subscribed. The Spectrum looks exciting and thinking of ordering the trio. Burgandy/dark red is the base for most gold leafing.
Welcome aboard! Yes those flakes are gorgeous. I'll definitely be doing more with them have to seen the videos after this one yet? The were stunning in a frog mould in particular
yes no problem. I have done that in a couple of other videos but as I haven't finished those ones off yet, I'll film it when I do :) Thank you so much for subscribing
I actually like the scrunched foil a lot. I have never seen that type in the states. The flat foil is guilding. It’s flatter and a lot more staticky too which leads to a lot of unwanted sticking to molds.
I just love how real you are I enjoy watching you and you're so honest and real and you don't make it look like you make a whole lot of money I appreciate you

I like how smooth the flakes are compared to the ones you already have. The colors are beautiful also. ❤❤❤ Thank you for sharing.
Glad you like them!
Such wonderful foils. They sure brighten things up! Thank you for sharing these with us. ❤❤❤
Glad you like them!
I'd have to say the U and the C are my favorite!! Good Job!!

Stunning Tracey those foils are really lovely thanks for sharing ❤❤

@@miniscenesgb I am going to try to be available then, but not sure. Been trying to get caught up on videos after traveling.
I enjoyed your process making these. They turned out lovely. ❤😊❤

Those flakes being smooth seem much shinier. The rose gold looks beautiful. Thanks for sharing
they are amazing. the M reminded me of autumn leaves.

Titanium DI-oxide. Thank you. Learned about it from you!!!
Great for making white stuff isn't it :)
Lol watching you working with foils is like watching myself with glitter lol
Gets everywhere doesn't it lol
I really enjoyed you and your video! I’ll be watching more!!❤
Thank you so much :) And welcome to my channel Marty
I just subscribed and was delighted to watch and hear you! I'm 87 and just going to try using the flakes.
Thanks Ryth, do enjoy those flakes. they get everywhere, such fun to use
Really nice comparison, very well thought out. Thank you👍
Thanks, glad you found this one useful Blue
Love the foils 😊
Pretty aren't they. I'm so pleased with them
Ok after a quick search, the scrunched foil version is called “twinkling” foil. Makes sense, the scrunching makes more light reflect.
Interesting, thanks for the info
I’m new watcher but I used to work with flakes in past and they transfer well using a dampened paint brush. Worth a try.
As I'll bear that in mind, Thanks for the tip
Beautiful effects I love using foils 😊❤😊
Me too!! These ones are really incredible.

Very beautiful.

Stunning
Yes, I really had to show everyone these flakes. I'll be doing lots with them :)
Thanks for sharing. The new flakes look more like chunks or slivers if you will because they are not all wrinkled like the others. Nice find for you.

we usually only have the scrunched here so it's great to have found a choice. both are sold as gilding foil or flakes over here. I love both :)
How 'bout backing the 'L' with some dark red/purple/whatever
The 'T' looks like marble also.
Yes that would probably work well :) Great ideas
