Lets get the spice flowing! What do you think is the most underrated sci-fi movie you've ever seen?
Dune 1984 Alternative Edition Redux, a really nice extended cut of the 84 cult classic, in my view the better Dune film. I immensely dislike the Villeneuve Dune as it is.
I already told you about this film, it's sunshine (2007), my absolute favourite film of all time, you must watch it if you still haven't
Sunshine, Upgrade, Time Bandits, Moon and Dark City top this list for me.
@@ajackassofalltrades great to find another person who loves sunshine!!!!
That Dune Popcorn Bucket is something else 😏
I don't know who approved the design of this thing, but they're completely unhinged...
the wormussy is a classic@@SullyStreams
I’m so jealous you got the popcorn bucket since Canada doesn’t want to sell these, great review I def agree the movie is monumental the cast is some impressive the movie looks absolutely stunning and mentioned it in my review Austin Butler was the new stand out and like you said I also said Timothy performance is my favourite performance of his
Haha gotta get over to ebay and see if you can get one of these pristine popcorn buckets that way. I'll have to go check out your review, curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks for watching, dude!
Awesome. I am frothing at the mouth to see this, since life got in the way of my screening. Killer review as always, dude!
Can't wait to see what you think about this one, I haven't stopped thinking about it since I left the theater. Thanks for watching, man!
I must say, I am getting very excited to check this film out, especially with the fantastic reviews it's getting. Your review has definitely further convinced me. I cannot wait to see it. Brilliant review
You're gonna really love this one, just a true science fiction epic in every sense of thr word. Thanks for watching, dude!
What a masterful sequel. This film is still processing inside of my mind, but what I do know is that it’s one of the greatest Sci-Fi films of all time. Fantastic Review, Sully!
Masterful is the word that immediately comes to mind as I think back on it too. Bring on Dune Messiah...Thanks for watching, dude!
THAT MOVIE WAS INCREDIBLE IT MAKES ME WANT TO SCREAM
USE THE VOICE
this movie is the cinematic definition of ‘sublime’ 🤩🍿
I came for the movie review and fell in love with a tub of popcorn. Great review and most underrated is The Fifth Element. Ill die on that hill that it is near perfect sci-fi with an awesome cast and fun story that understands what it is supposed to be.
Haha the popcorn bucket works in mysterious ways...Couldn't agree more with you on The Fifth Element, I saw it much later in life than I should have and instantly bought it on 4k the second the credits rolled. Thanks for watching, T!
great review dude cant wait till the weekend to watch it
I hope you love the movie as much as I did. Thanks for watching, Dessie!
Improvements on all fronts with Part Two! Great review, man!
Glad you guys dug this one! Dune: Part Two is gonna be tough to beat when it comes to my favorite movie of 2024...Thanks for watching!
Bro really got the bucket haha, amazing stuff! I can't really say anything you didn't already say, it's a masterpiece and a new bar for Science Fiction! MY most underrated Sci-Fi film is "Life"!
What a glorious experience seeing this in imax was, already planning my next trip to see it again. Huge fan of life, great pick. Thanks for watching, Josh!
This movie was everything I expected and more for sure. I will walk away with Hans Zimmer’s score and just how freaking awesome it was. Glad to see you finally love a movie this year, hope for some more😂
Haha the first movie I absolutely love in 2024, I'm a happy man! Of course it was gonna be Dune: Part Two though. Thanks for watching, Jacob!
Great review, man. YOu described how I feel since Sunday. Just utter amazement, wonder, and joy. Word how does he top this? Most underrated sci-fi film I can think of is Annihilation
Annihilation is a solid pick, definitely an underrated sci-fi. Dune: Part Two in imax was seriously one of the best theater experiences I've ever had, felt like I was trasported to Arrakis. Thanks for watching, Zach!
Greg review. Seeing it this Saturday night in IMAX! As for Under-rated Sci-fi I would say DARK CITY.
You are gonna have a blast seeing this one in imax, if there's one movie this year that's necessary to see in that format it's Dune: Part Two. Thanks for watching, dude!
Really looking forward to this one. I suppose I'd have to go with Dark City or Cube for most underrated sci-fi movie. Great video man
I still haven't seen Cube, has been on my watchlist for years. Make sure to see this one in imax, it's a real treat. Thanks for watching, JM!
I mean 🤯🤯. This is my #1 of 2024 there is no way another movie is going to hit as hard as this one did. I was FLOORED!
That's what I like to hear, Zach! This movie gave me absolutely everything I could have possibly wanred out of a Dune sequel. The visuals, performances, and scoring were beyond fantastic. Glad you dug it as much as I did. Thanks for watching, dude!
I'm happy that we live in a time where Dune exists. I'm concerned we live in a time where the Dune popcorn bucket exists.
Haha very well said. Thanks for watching Justin, hopefully you loved the movie as much as I did!
This was a solid movie. Visually and score wise was stunning. Can’t wait for the 3rd one.
The 3rd one cannot come fast enough. Glad you dug this one. Thanks for watching, dude!
most underrated sci fi movie, Blade Runner 2049 🍿🍿🍿
I really need to give that one a rewatch. Even though I love Denis and the original Blade Runner, I didn't vibe with his take on it. Thanks for watching the review!
This movie is Incredible! It’s in my top 10 favorite movies of all time!
That's awesome that you enjoyed the movie as much as you did. It's definitely one of the best films I've ever seen. What else is on your top 10 all time list? Thanks for watching!
@@SullyStreams
1. Toy Story
2. Avengers Infinity War
3. Pirates Of The Caribbean
4. Monsters Inc
5. Star Wars New Hope
6. Shrek
7. The Dark Knight
8. Mitchells Vs The Machines
9. Spider-Man NWH
10. Dune Part Two
Keep the Dune bucket for few years, it might worth $100k on ebay.
Too bad I'm only selling this work of art for ONE MILLION dollars!
Nice review man. I didn’t absolutely love Part One. I still thought it was great, but it was missing that connection with the characters I wanted.
I think that's what you're gonna love about Part Two: It expands upon all the setup from the previous entry and gives us all of the necessary payoffs. I can't wait to see it again. Thanks for watching, Scott!
"A Boy And His Dog" (w/Don Johnson, you know, Dakota;s dad?) ;-)>
Love that movie!
Haven't seen that one, adding it to the watchlist!
Another great review thumbs up! I thought those buckets and the cups were crazy cool! Was so glad to see them at my IMAX. I really disliked the movie though, and the first one as well.
Oh no, talk to me Jay! Why do you think you're not a fan of either of these new Dune movies? I absolutely love them. Thanks for watching!
@@SullyStreams video response ok?? later on! thumbs up
They dont sell the popcorn bucket here in Australia it sucks
Time to ride the sandworm over to the States and pick one up...
Most underrated sci-fi film ever? Dark Star
Haven't checked this one out, making sure to add it to my watchlist!
That was a lot of gushing, innit?
When you encounter a movie this good, especially after seeing the abysmal releases we've gotten so far this year, you gotta gush!
@@SullyStreams Fair, fair.
Under-rated Sci-fi? Always hard because if too obscure has low rating and it too common (and good) has high rating but here goes: Logan’s Run, Super 8, and Prometheus. Glad you liked Dune II, seeing it Saturday.
Prometheus will always have a special place in my heart, first Alien franchise films I ever saw in theaters. You're gonna love this movie Bill, thanks for watching!
No, no, NO!!!! The problem has NOT been that the studios haven't given directors free reign, it has been that studios have given incompetent, undeserving directors and writers unbridled power and budgets that result in complete disasters (Disney/The Marvels, Sony/Madam Web). Then the studios see the disaster and try to fix it and possibly even make it worse. The solution is to give power and huge budgets ONLY to directors that have proven themselves as extraordinary in bringing talent and vision that sells to a mass audience. Instead of merit-based the studios have typically gone woke-acolyte based: Rian Johnson, S.J. Clarkson, Nia Dacosta. That is why I think Disney should beg and plead Villeneuve to do the next Star Wars trilogy, promising to write him a blank check and stay out of his way.
