Doctor indicted, accused of HIPAA violation

A Houston doctor is facing up to 10 years in prison. Dr. Ethan Haim is accused of illegally accessing young patient information at Texas Children's Hospital.

What times we live in! They call what is good as evil and what as evil as good, just as written. In any case, could it be true that as the Word states, we are "fearfully and wonderfully made"? He is love and is kind but He's also desiring none should perish but for all to come to the knowledge of Christ.

Dr. Haim's attorneys should focus on delaying the case, at least until January 20th. At that point the DOJ prosecutors will be unemployed and looking for new jobs. ;)

Shame on you channel 26 for stating only one side of the story and not having anybody to defend him! I've watched his side of the story, and the evils he is exposing are unbelievable! I thank God for this doctor for exposing these horrible evils!

Yea? Do you know how many damn letters I’ve gotten from my health insurance providers, pharmacy’s and hospitals who’ve been hacked by the Chinese and have all our information!? Shut up.

But in this case patients information was retracted. So their HIPAA case is pretty weak, they are charging him to intimidate. This interview does a poor job of covering the facts.
