Hi, im in the same flight now ( 20.02.2023) same situation WTF???
15:48 Wow, LED mood lighting and starry ceiling on an older plane?! WOW, SO CUTTING EDGE FOR 2005!!!! I know this particular registration was delivered in 2007, but damn!! Emirates had the 300ER since 05, and It's just impressive that they even had starry ceilings and LED mood lighting on the 777 even before they had the A380!!!

Emirates Don't Care about the A6-EB*. They know if they have a problem they will retire them ASAP and bring back a A380 that is stored. I went on A6-EBU and the IFE button came off and seat screws on the floor
I flew with emirates b777 in economy back in 2021. I was surprised by the bad service they provided . I always thought they were the best but my experience was different. IFE wasn't working for the whole 4 hour flight and no blankets were provided despite being a overnight flight. And crew was also a bit angry....
Like I’m disappointed from Emirates still uses this aircraft until today and for long flights.

That's quite the feast they gave you in Economy. I'm looking forward to my First Class flight with them in November.
A6-EBY is considered to be one of the oldest aircraft within Emirates fleet, I believe it will be phased out soon

Sick of Emirates fleet inconsistency in their cabin products. Flew business class from Auckland to Dubai and the reason I upgraded is because they advertise their brand new seat and when I boarded my flight, to my horror they had the old seats! Really disappointed with their inconsistent cabins among their fleet.
I had the same reaction when I boarded the plane… They need the new planes that they have in order so they can retire the old ones.
It is quite frustrating, I never even knew Emirates still operated such an old product. Emirates has only two aircraft types yet their economy is all over the place
@@_areeb_ yes exactly. I get that they have a large fleet but they seem to reserve their new cabins for the more “premium” routes like Europe, USA and some Asian regions. They really need to mention that your flight may not have the new seats/cabins as advertised basically everywhere
OMG BRO ME TOO !!!! EK449 LIKE WHY AUCKLAND ESPECIALLY…. It’s a damm long 19 hour flight and we get always screwed over this happened 3 times to me flying in and out…
From memory they have about 5 different economy cabins today, about 4 business and 3 slightly different first class ones

i had that same economy cabin the 26th of may 2025 dxb-vce idk which type of serial number was but the only thing i wanted was to land bc i was so bored witch that old ice system even tho it’s rare to fly on a flight like that

The cabin seems to be old, because when I saw business class when you boarded, It was 2-3-2 instead of the 2-2-2, and I already knew that it was an old cabin.

I had to show a negative PCR test. They changed the rules after I left tho, so I think you just need the vaccination certificate now.

2-3-2 in Business Class? Ouch. That's premium economy in many airlines. Very outdated cabin though.
That's typical on the Emirates Triple7. The A380 is much better, since every seat is a aisle seat
Why all the negativity? Explain your reasoning for some remarks
Because when I booked this flight I thought I would get to experience their most common economy class. In this plane, the seats were kinda uncomfortable and the IFE was too bad (the screen itself). I still consider Emirates one of the best airlines in the world after this flight, I just got bad luck on this one ;) Just wait until I release my next tripreport of my flight from Dubai to London on one of their newest A380!
