I know I'm getting old when Jason Priestley has aged. Glad he's still doing his thing. Always seemed like a good human in real life.
he looks a bunch older than his 54 years - that doesnt help much
@@podiumguy100 No he doesn't...
He looks older because he suffered severe injuries to his face, spine and feet after his racing accident in 2003. He looked great after the crash but just like Mark Hamil post accident. His features were altered somewhat. I think he ‘s a great person and looks just fine. People change with age.
That beard that he has growing makes him look a lot older.@podiumguy100
@@podiumguy100
Nonsense. Don't be so ridiculous 🙄
Good to see Jason as a grown man and how he has matured. I worked with Jason in the mid 1980's and on some occasions it was my job on the production to drive him back and forth to work from his home in North Vancouver to the studio or set. He was cutting his acting teeth on a Vancouver Television series called "Danger Bay". I'm not much of a TV person but saw this "spot" on the news. From this short interview I have a feeling Jason turned out to be a great person and he appears very grounded. All of this considering the negative influences of that industry and Hollywood, he has beat the system but it doesn't always turn out that way. Glad I saw this.....
It is Moving to watch him break down talking about Luke… from what we have been able to see, they were really close friends and loved each other deeply.
It’s so refreshing to see that someone in Hollywood hasn’t caved in to plastic surgery. Yes, of course he looks older than he did in Beverly Hills 90210, but he is older. Natural beauty is the best.
You mean he looks older than 35 years ago? Damn!!!
@@BudFuddlacker Yep, that’s what I said.
@@catherinep1800 let’s see how you look after 35 years, we’ll wait….
Wait for what? I will be 50 this year and obviously look way different to what I did 35 years ago. In another 35 years time, I will obviously look different to how I look today. That’s not rocket science. You must have misunderstood my original comment. I think Jason Priestly looks GREAT, and it’s good to see that someone in that industry hasn’t undergone plastic surgery to try and look “better” or more youthful. I’m not sure what that has to do with how I will look in 35 years, though.
@@catherinep1800 I’m sorry you had to explain such a simply put comment. I agree! Glad he stayed natural. Looks much better to me as well 😊
He seems to be such a nice down to earth guy and its heartbreaking to see how sad he still gets to talk about Luke. Both Luke and Jason are kind of supposed to never age since there were once teenage idols, but they of course do as all the rest of us.
As a Canadian, I can say he is a class act.

the 90210 opening theme with all the cast does something to my heart and soul
Love Love Love him!!! He was always my favorite on the show.
I loved this interview. 90210 was a special show at a very pivotal time in my life. I cried seeing Jason's reaction to losing Luke Perry. I miss Luke and cannot believe he is gone. These were incredible shows and a momentous time in history. Awesome cast and they are all dear to my heart.
Well said, I agree :)
Let’s go Brandon!
I watch beverly hills 90210 a lot u can tell he misses Luke , he's missed by so many his legacy lives on ❤️❤️❤️
Stroke can occure at any age but...he was especially young. Stay away from egg yokes! Get a MRI to check for any blockages that are about to happen.

"Brandon" was my favorite character on 90210. Jason seems like one of the good guys. He obviously has aged but still has those trademark piercing blue eyes. Wish him the best in life.
I agree with you
"He's obviously aged" is putting it nicely. He has aged badly
@@o̸ණ very bad, he must have partied hard.
He's still got the same brandon haircut!! Omg I loved this show so much!!
Irish age badly. Still having the same haircut from the early 1990s doesn't help! He looks like someone packed him away in a box. And unpacked him for this interview.
Jason’s eyes are so beautiful - even now .. he’s like fine wine..
Love it. So ironic because I have been watching 90210 on Pluto Tv for the last week or so. I did not know that 90210 was on for 10 years until I looked it up the other day. That is just awesome! I still have my towel since I was in 7th grade 1992. I also had the pillows. I had Luke on the front of my binder and Jason on the back. I love all the people on 90210. The best show ever!!!
You have to buy the DVD set in order to watch ALL episodes, due music licensing not all episodes are on the streaming services such as Pluto or Paramount.
He was and still is awesome!
Wow!! He’s aged but we all do,he still has those blue eyes… glad he’s doing well!! You can tell he misses Luke very sad.
I don't age at all, been around for centuries
Yes, I think celebrities that sometimes age without work done will look more like this but he looks like he’s probably lost some sleep working harder. I know several 50+ that look little more youthful but he still looks good.
@@acer4237 naw drugs and party will do that to you. Keanu Reeves who don’t party hard is aging well
@@viktorcheng2061 look a little closer at keanu, he's falling apart
@@jamesjameson4566 Jason and Reeves are both aging. And as I’m close to hitting 50 it’s cool to see I’m not alone getting old…
Jason Priestley and Luke Perry were the best. These guys were style icons in the 90s just as Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas were in the 1980s with Miami Vice.
Cant agree more
Back in 1990 when 90210 first aired, I said to myself this is the show that I am going to see and never miss an episode, as I was starting my first year in high school. I miss the show, those times, and all my friends I lost contact with throughout the years.
I had his posters along with Luke Perry's all over my bedroom walls. I crushed on the both of them though I crush on Jason more. Such a talented guy who is expanding his career!
Wow, what a gentleman.
Always liked Jason’s work. Seemed like a genuinely good guy too. Happy everything turned out well for him. Thanks for the memories!
This dude is a blast from the past!
I was part of that viewing party in early 90s, loved it
He still makes me get butterflies at how handsome he is. Jason is my celebrity crush and I can’t help it.
Really enjoyed it. Great interview!
Saw him knocking one back at the Horseshoe Tavern (Toronto) in the late 90s. He wasn't looking for attention, just drinking with a pal. Seemed a totally genuine dude.
Daaaaaaamn time flies. The 90210 house was in my hometown growing up when I was in high school. Sometimes you could catch a glimpse of the cast hanging out while driving by. They even helped my buddy push his car to get it jump-started once😂
Humblebrag 🤦🏻♂️
@@BudFuddlacker The house is at 1675 E Altadena Drive in Altadena , CA if you ever have a chance to visit. Just a crazy coincidence being in the right place at the right time. I also graduated from the same high school as Eddie Van Halen🤣Pure lucky circumstances...

Damn. This dude…. Great interview. Good Man… 🙏
Brenda Walsh and Brandon Walsh are the most charismatic heroes in the history of TV, Jason Priestley you are a wonderful person God bless you

This dude is gentleman...thumbs up for him for always keeping his feet on the ground and humble always , tho he had the 'power' to be an as*hole by the success he did he wasn't...he has been always a good man his entire carreer...Luke as well.
...not sure about the others but i guess also cause they seemed like a legitimate nice people pack ( not the usually hollywood case ) and after all i guess thats why everybody watched the show cause they seemed legitimate in the hearts as people ...and as for actors they were awesome
It is truly sad to this day Luke Perry passed away
yes he was was my favorite.. loved him as lane fost
It is still hard to believe he's gone.😢
My goodness Luke 💔 and the fame never phased him. His head never got too big. He told Howard Stern in an interview that he chose to be written off 90210 because the fame was too much. He also was the only celeb besides Brad Pitt to not have social media and things like that. Loved him on 'Riverdale' too. Fame never phased him and neither did it effect Priestley. Jason kept his head on straight ans you never hear anything crazy about him in the tabloids. Truly someone you should want your kids to look up to. Nice interview. Good to see that hes doing alright.
Jason Priestley is extremely handsome.
The Ballard documentary was very entertaining and very well done. Nice work Jason. Hope to see you out on a track somewhere soon if you still get behind the wheel.
He is the best, so talented and kind!
Aww 💕Brandon was my boyfriend back in the days.lol..had to wait each week to watch a new episode, just started watching again from beginning..he was sooo cute and now handsome..Great guy..✨

You can see that he started to choke up and was holding back his tears when he was talking about Luke Perry. You can tell that they were really good friends and he really misses him. The two of them worked together a couple of times after 90210 ended. Jason guest stared on Luke's show "Jeremiah" and he directed Luke in the movie "Goodnight For Justice".
Awesome guys
It’s really hard to think about how long ago 90210 was.

We absolutely lost a piece of our childhood when Luke Perry died. From what has been said, he was such a good person & very well liked. Such a loss beyond words.

I had fun working with Jason on Cas and Dylan. Great chats.
I like this reporter, unlike others that would pry he respected Jason when asked about Luke.
Everyone talking about him aging lol. BH90210 first aired nearly THIRTY FIVE YEARS AGO. He looks great for his age!

The industry did him wrong. He deserved so much more. Such a brilliant actor. Hopefully we get to see him again in something oneday.
I am his age but I look 10 years younger... with no face treatements... I am happy that he is healthy and seemingly happy
I loved that show.
Anybody else get emotional in just hearing the theme song to BH 90210...i get butterflies in my stomach when I watch the high school years...its weird...i hate getting old... Lol..
I get those butterflies in my stomach, too, when I hear the BH 90210 theme song. Those times went by too fast. I'm in the same boat, hate getting old. I can't believe that this was such a long time ago.
Oh good times 90210 memories also seeing Jason Priestly.

Great video lots of memories
I used to watch the show with my brother. Such an era! Miss the old good days.
I miss those days, too.
90210 had the best looking cast ever.
That should be a great documentary!!
Very good interview. Thanks.
One show that no one mentioned in the Comment section was the Canadian series "Private Eyes", which Jason starred and ran from 2016-2021 (he also directed 7 episodes). In the US, it was shown on the ION Television. It was an enjoyable show (even had William Shatner guested on several episodes) and Jason was very good in it. Some mentioned here that Jason aged a lot and I have to agree, especially between "Private Eyes" and this interview. Better take care of yourself, Jason.
Vancouver & Canada proud of Jason!!
Awesome
interview! Proof you should seek a mentor in what you you really want to do!
When I hear Jason speaking and I close my eyes I can hear Tom Hanks.
Oh wow I kinda see/hear it.
You’re right
I was a huge fan of his back then. He is an awesome actor!
Rip Luke 💔
Tellement triste 😢 de savoir qu'il est encore très triste en parlant de luke !! Ils étaient comme frère ❤
Jason est un homme adorable un plaisir à écouter 🙏
Life is short. Success is defined by how well you are being loved. If not look at yourself. Have you put your family and close friends before everything else? If not now you know why you are where you are. Simple isn't it.
Some odd comments here about his 'aging'. He's 53 not 23. Lines on the face and bags under the eyes are quite common by then. Some of you will look a lot worse.
Some, but not many. I’m closing in on 50 and don’t have any wrinkles, but I’m Asian so it could be genetics for me. It looks like Jason needs better stress management and getting better quality sleep. He probably overworks too.
@@jenCo2020 yes and when they do their faces always seem to look odd. Better to leave well alone as he has.
Watching season 2 on paramount now. Love 90210. My favorite show always watched all 10seasons alot
I didn't know that Arnold Schwarzenegger played the role of Brandon in 90210!
Arnie, you did great!
Your talent proves that not only you could play the "action movies" roles, but also you did great at TV - shows of the 90-s!
Way to go, "Terminator", way to go!
Jason almost cried talking about Luke 😢😢
I had to wait 3 years, before 90210 came to the northeast. No WB Channel. Did not disappoint, when I saw my first episode in Salt Lake City. There was a lot of buzz, even in places that didn't carry the show. First time I saw the cast was on a morning talk show, and they ran the beginning credits and I remember thinking, hm, looks like something really interesting. I think everyone, who was into the show, wanted to see Priestley, as an older guy, saying he 'was waiting for the phone to ring,' because you could kinda tell it was going to happen. He looked smart enough to know that it might happen, too. Anyway. That show was pretty awesome. Really liked it. I liked it probably as much as I liked 'the Brady Bunch,' when I was 8. Um. For me, the show lost its way, when they went to college. I stopped watching, but memories are very vivid.
The Legend
The part with the girls watching Beverly Hills 90210 brings me back to 1991 when my friends and I would watch it together. That was over 30 years ago. XO
My favorite character was Steve and Kelly 💕👌

He hasn’t aged well but glad that he’s still here and doing what he loves. Touching about Luke…we all still miss him. Definitely gone too soon.❤️
He’s 53 years old. Born in 1969. He’s aging beautifully & naturally. As he continues to age his face will have great character & experience which will enhance his acting giving his performances more depth.
It is not the age. He said himself: bitter and jaded. Can be read in his eyes.
How's AGING for you? Thanks for sharing....

He and Luke Perry stirred the drink
Father time catches up with us all eventually. That said, he looks way older than his 53 years and frankly sick. We can only assume that since his friend and BH 90210 co-star died at only 52 that he's gotten the memo on being pro-active when it comes to personal health and wellbeing (ie: physical exams and screenings, diet and exercise). Ian Ziering, who is five years older, looks amazing. Could just be genes.
Yes, I’m shocked. His eyes look horrible! Maybe it’s bad sling genes? I hope so. Sweet Luke Perry looked really old, too, before he passed. I’m concerned
he had a pretty bad race car accident about 20 years ago and almost died. He's had a lot of reconstructive surgery to fix his body and his face. This type of surgery affects the way you'll age. The way his eyes look are a typical consequence of the crash and its aftermath.
And yes, he partied hard in the 90s and early 00's as he's always admitted.
I am watching Beverly Hills 90210 for the first time (started Aug 2023 and up to mid-season 4). Jason was right. He was the star of the show and was featured heavily in every single episode (or majority of them). I don’t blame him for feeling that way. He did carry the show.
I love how I knew the Peach Pit answer and yet can't find the charger for a camera I bought 2 years ago
My sister's friend named her baby Brandon after him in the 90s. He is a man now and still see him to this day.
he's having a difficult time now even. The lighting is bad here. it's all around and in his eyes. I LOVE ❤ JASON PRIESTLEY, PLEASE HELP HIM. he needs to be a big star.
I'm glad his career is still going strong. He looks rough...older than his age.

@@annemacleod1421 Is that it? I've seen men on the street in their 50s look better. I'm actually not trying to mean at all. It's just obviously quite shocking because he was the hot guy to many (not me and never watched any of his shows. Commercials were everywhere) and to see him look extremely older is a bit scary.
