My uncle in Thailand, I assume visited places like these on the regular would buy exotic animals and release them to the appropriate habitats after checking if they are okay. From what I’ve seen him do are bear cubs, giant python(anaconda type of snake I think), heaps of turtles, mongoose and a couple other smaller possum looking creatures. He usually takes more common animals to the bush and exotic ones to sanctuary’s or temples that’s specialising in caring for that type. Kinda interesting to see where they are coming from!
Not helpful still, if no one bought it they wouldnt sell them, your uncle is saving one to endanger more basically by bringing up the demand esp if everyone thought like your uncle.

Yeah only a little part of it burned down a couple of weeks ago.. many animals died, but in hindsight they have now bought out some pretty strict laws about keeping animals.. if that’s any consolation
I think some of the animals you were unsure about were possibly hairless Guinea Pig/Skinny Pig and a Skunk. Some of those poor animals stored in plastic boxes outside. They know that is wrong. Some of the poor things were trying to cool off in the water dishes, then they have no water to drink. I expected to see more scenes like the dogs cramped in a pink crate. As you say the hidden reality! What goes on in front of house is for show!

As someone with a pet snake I can tell that all of these reptiles are quite unhappy, either lethargic or trying to escape. There are many legal pet stores that do it much better, giving the snakes and lizards space to move and exhibit natural behaviours. However many of the people selling the animals here are probably not living in much better condition

How do you think the animals raised for food in Australia are treated? Spanian I'm surprised as we got to the end of the Market after seeing 8 Dog's crammed into a cage that you didn't notice how Many Expensive Luxury Car's were parked along that strip? It’s illegal to film in the red light district so it was probably removed by RUclips.

How do you think the animals raised for food in Australia are treated? Animals used for food, clothing or entertainment are all exploited and abused horribly, and yes even in this country its no different! I hope the people that are disgusted by this look into where their food comes from, if you eat animals its no different and you are directly contributing to animal cruelty and abuse. And if you think its different because those are farm animals then that is speciesism.
We dont do that on our farms there are endangered species in that market no excuses. All the east is being exposed shows there true colours. No humanity there and they want to be our neighbor near our kids. And get jealous of the west. Please

Spanian I'm surprised as we got to the end of the Market after seeing 8 Dog's crammed into a cage that you didn't notice how Many Expensive Luxury Car's were parked along that strip? Mercedes, Audis etc.. That's shows you just how lucrative the Animal Trade is out there, apart from the really big wild animals as I said hidden out of sight or at other locations. Shocking, everytime I see it it breaks my heart never get used to those sights.

I’m from Laos, born in Thailand. I wish country like Thailand and many others are more educated and more compassionate when it comes to animals. It saddens me everytime I see animals are caged up or in a small confined space! Even in the US, reasons why I don’t go to the zoo because I hate seeing animals not in its own habitat. I understand, everyone culture is different and what you see might not be the norm for yourself or everyone, but it’s F***** up sometimes how human treats animals.
