    I love this, we have lights, hanging ornaments, wind chimes, suncatchers and bird feeders all over our garden! Hanging baskets, raised veggie beds, a greenhouse and a patio with a human entertainment and relaxation area completes our precious garden. I couldn't be without my special outdoor space xoxo

    My passion to get what I can, and can what I get outweighs my appreciation of pretty...lol I but sure enjoy looking at your pretty places. I only have so much energy to spend, so produce trumps pretty.

    We are seniors, so we have two container gardens that require very minimal work and hardly any weeding. The containers enable us to just bend over a little...great for seniors or folks with disabilities. One container grows vegetables; the other grows flowers and strawberries. It's enough produce for us, and to share with our neighbors. Just an option for those who want minimal work and lots of beautiful vegetables.

    It’s always fascinating to me to see people’s planting season. We’ve had veggies in the ground and producing for a few weeks. Everything looks so pretty and may God bless the harvest. 😊

    We have so much wind where we are on the east coast of South Africa. And some days for sure it takes pure mental fortitude to get out in the garden and do what needs doing. I love what you said about it taking time to have a vision for certain areas of the garden. So true. And also there no rush to fill spaces. Beautiful garden you have!

    Oh goodness.... watching you garden in sweatshirts and jackets makes me so jealous!!! Here in Missouri is already hitting 90 degrees and I'm dying!!! 🥵 thankful for the days it's only on the low 80s.

    Ok, challenge accepted. Will find a way to make the veg garden cuter. You’re right, there’s so much weeding that I never think to take time to make it more charming. But I can tell that would be worth the time.

    Tarp it. Silage tarp is perfect for this sort of situation. No need to start over with cardboard/compost. 4-6 weeks over a bed like this and you'll have no more weeds to speak of

    You work so hard inside and outside...get those little farmhands out there weeding for you while you make it all pretty with your cute fencing and lights...The lights are whimsical.....sweet

    My husband works in the Dept of Ecology and has warnings about apple orchard hazardous soil. Is your orchard from the time they treated with lead-arsenate pesticides? From 1800-1950s. Just a caring viewer.
