@@KevinNiceTry haha yeah weather here in Helsingborg in southern Sweden over the past few days has been absolute bonkers. In the space of 15 mins we’ve had sun, rain, snow, hail and back to sun. April so far has been donkey bollocks for weather. I feel you.

@@RikRiorik That's the same what we got for the last days here in Midwestern Germany. Wanted to skate yesterday (Sunday). Didn't look too bad 9 Celsius with sun. As soon as I started the session clouds appeared and freezing wind like below 0 Celsius. So I went back home. Winter just doesn't want to leave. But there is hope. The forecast predicts spring weather starting from now on. Hopefully in Southern Sweden & Buffalo as well! 😉
@@zeitgeist1977sk8 it’s getting better for sure! I’ve got 9 days off work and the weather is looking good although still cold as hell. But one out of two is still a good deal!
Glad I came across you. Got back into skating a few years ago after 16 years and I’m 35 now. Kinda losing steam as progression is hitting a wall. Good to see we’re out here
Heck yeah, just don't compare your progress with the younger crowd or people that skate for a living. I'm sure you have other responsibilities as we all do in our 30s. Have fun and keep shredding when you get that free time.

Looks like a fun park. Nice and big, and I love how it’s like separate sections. All of our locals are pretty tiny.
Personally I’m not a fan of slip ons (after a few sessions they feel like slippers to me), but I’ve only skated vans, and I’m also not a fan of vans lol. Your back bigs on the bank are nice and popped. Don’t worry about the kickflips, they’ll come back in the warmer weather lol.
Looks can be deceiving haha. It's big but the flat bar is thin and square, the ground is wavy in spots, and no open space (very clustered) in most spots. Yeah vans soles are too soft and grippy. Comfortable but not my favorite to skate. Hahaha. Thanks hopefully they do. I went to film at the bowl this morning but it started snowing as I was doing my intro. Lol. This weather is killing me.
@@KevinNiceTry for sure, it’s just anything new looks exciting to skate lol. I would blow through vans soles quick, drove me crazy. Nike and cons are my fave. We have a Nike outlet like 20 mins from where I am, I’d always find shoes for $40-$50, even got janoskis for that price. We also got snow last night…it melted away now, but it’s still cold and windy 🥲
That's true I forgot about the outlet. I wanna try some last resorts at some point this summer but im super happy with the board and shoes rn so I dont wanna change anything haha. Hopefully we will get some spring weather soon! Ugh.
Yeah janoski is really good. It's bad when they interfere. Especially young scooters, and just kids. In skate park.

same here bro! i cant afford skate shoes more than $50. i would normally buy with a price of $40-45. not really practical for me to get nike even though i really like them
Haha, yeah its hard to spend 100 on shoes just to destroy them in 2 months.
My shoe cost me $85 but the way I skate they last me a long time. Not being able to kickflip helps🤣.
You were crushing it at the park. The 180 variations over the hip were rad. Also liked the buttery fast 5050. Grinding stuff is the best.
The camera magnet effect is real. Where it goes people and their board follow.

I was going to ride it a little but a dad and his son showed up and they went to the bowl. So I wanted to give them space. If the weather ever warms up I'll be able to go earlier and have the place to myself find the lines.
Emerica slip ons are the skate shoes I’ve ever had. I’m on my 3rd pair now.
Did you see they just came out with the cupsole version?! Definitely want to try them.

I always have luck scoring good deals on the eS’ website. Get some Accel Slims, Swift, Evant, Silos or Eos, for example
Nice, I tried the accel slims when I won the 9 club raffle and they hurt my big toe for some reason. Even though Es and Emerica are both soletech. The size 12 in Es seems snug but not with most Emericas. It's weird haha.
@@KevinNiceTry yea, I know the Accel Slims have more of a pointed toe, compared to say…the Silos or Evants. Guess it also depends on shoe preference vs board feel. I tend to lean toward the more “puffy” shoes. The Evants are def my favs, with the Accel OG not far behind 👍🏻
