- In this video, I let you know how I got my first client, what has happened and how I have mixed their track with a mix rundown providing transparency, tips and advice. It can be hard to build a clientele due to the oversaturation of mix engineers, but some or most mix engineers struggle to create good mixes. You need to be really good at mixing if you want them to come back to you. If I can do it, you can too. Enjoy the video!

The mix from the last person who did it for them, Night and Day difference when you mixed it. That's an amazing sound. It's punchy, has clarity, it sounds alive. For what you charged, I think that's fair especially for a first client. But its all based off your standards. Great video and great mix Jack. 🤘🤙

3:24 My earlier comment got deleted for some reason, if the problem is midi conversion from one plugin to another there's a website midi remap just for that.. it converts midi files frome one drum plugin to another keeping the right parts of the kit and all..

Love it. Nothing to too overwhelming and we use a lot of the same plug ins. Seeing the soothe come up more and more. Think it might be time to invest myself. Would love to see a mix breakdown of your drop a# dethcore track.

I appreciate it man, thank you! Onto the other comment, it happens allot with bands. I have been thinking that I should carry out a product delivery requirement that I can make using Microsoft word, just so that I can force bands to get it all up to professional standards. Perhaps they just need more guidance I’m willing to help them through.

Not very well produced/recorded. You did a good job of optimising what you were given though. 10 times better than the previous mix for sure.

EZ Drummer and DI's...that's not a real recording no offense...and that also can't be considered a real mix either....still good exp but it's no where near as if u got some real drums and real amp sounds
