    I would like to see EV Charging appear on highway exit info signs along with gas, restaurants, etc. Along with informing EV drivers it would also inform those considering making the switch from gas to electric.

      @@electrifyamerica I could not agree more. I would like to add that the signs be large LCD interstates signs reporting the number of available charging stations at the exit that leads to the stations. The more the general public see these signs and stations in their general goings about, the greater and faster the adoption of EV's. It's all about reassuring and exposing the stations to the attention of the general public.
      I would like to add that outside of Tesla, Electrify America has done more for EV's than any other company in America by far. There is absolutely no comparisons to the other companies such as ChargePoint, EVgo etc. which for the most part have much slower charging station that have swayed unfavorably, and understandably so, in the general public's mind. Having the 150kw, and especially the 350kw options that bring the charging speeds near to the level of filling your tank with gasoline, is a game changer.
      So thank you from the bottom of my heart, and please keep adding 350kw stations and maintaining them in peak conditions. The 800 volt architecture will be the dominant one going forward, as proven by the brand new Hyundai and Kia models to go along the existing Porsche Taycan among others, that will bring the charging speeds ever so close to the speed of filling your tank.

    That's great. Now if you could fix the screens so badly hazed by the sun that they are unreasonable. A roof over the chargers for shade and inclement weather would also be appreciated.

We want to ensure our customers can comfortably charge regardless of the weather conditions, which is why we recently announced our plan to add solar awnings to 400-500 individual chargers at 100 charging stations across the country.       @@electrifyamerica Charger reliability and make it easier for customer should come first. Tesla doesn't have a screen because it isn't needed. A few LED lights would work and instructions on how to use the app on the machine. Need public cameras so we can see how many chargers are in use. I often see the app say it is in available, but get there and someone is struggling to use the charger and taking up the spot with a long line. Get rid of the card readers. If it doesn't work, remove it. Daily in Orlando you see people frustrated with the card readers. Why have them if they don't work. Get rid of the US number verification. Need a way for international travelers to use the app. Need better messages why peoples cards get declined. You don't need to convince the people in this forum who already own a EV. We know the tricks to make it work for us. You need to convince the people renting a EV and getting a bad experience and killing your future business.

    The sun shining directly on the screens makes it impossible to read them. The 45 second time out is kind of counterintuitive to the"Plug In First" instruction. And Finally, chargers being out of commission for months is not helping EV adoption.
    My question, is when are we going to see a plug and charge exchange that is a little like Tesla? Or is it too difficult to make a handshake that can handle car identification, tied to a payment wallet?

    Has there been discussion with Electrify America to partner with 711 stores, CVS or Walgreen locations etc to increase the amount of stations. There is only 1 station in Orlando, FL and it is constantly busy and currently 2 of the 7 installs are not working.. The app is not easy to use, find locations and does not provide accurate information on availability. Another issue is EA has not built wait spots while others are charging. The honor system is amazingly impressive as owners wait for the available install. i appreciate EA as the trend setter but demand is building and it would be disappointing if momentum stopped because we don't have the infrastructure

    I have a 2022 LiveWire One motorcycle. I cannot initiate charge without contacting EA customer service. Is this an EA problem or a LiveWire problem or both?

    I don't use my Canadian data in USA . Is it possible to charge my EV without my cell phone?

      Hi! Yes, you can charge at our stations by using the credit card reader instead. You can use either Visa or MasterCard credit cards, including those issued by Canadian banks, at any of our Electrify America locations. -LM

    Does it allow for a Jeep 4xe to be charged? I tried to go to a charging station but did not see a plug to support my vehicle

      Hi, Roxanne. 👋 Each Electrify America location features multiple CCS connectors as well as one CHAdeMO connector. Select locations also offer level 2 charging via a J1772 connector. You can determine which connectors are available at our stations by using the Electrify America app! For more specific information regarding your vehicle's specific charging capabilities, we recommend reaching out to your vehicle manufacturer directly. We hope this information is helpful! -CS

    Dear EA, the 2 charging stations near me always have at least 2 chargers not working? Why does it take so long to fix a broken charger? When I go to charge I am always waiting about 45 mins. Sometimes at 10 and 11 @ night.The demand is growing doesn’t look like your infrastructure is keeping up??

    It would be interesting if we could download the App and configure it from outside the USA, so that when we are on vacation in the USA we can use it when renting a car. From Europe it is impossible to install the App on iPhone.

Our stations however, accept both Visa and MasterCard credit cards, including those issued by international banks.     The RFID on one station did not work so had to use a credit card. Called customer services and gave up after being on hold for 30 minutes! Also did not get a receipt via text message. If gas stations were this complicated the entire world would stop working.

    This video is incorrect. I tried yesterday to use my unpaid EC Pass in the app by tapping the iOS Apple Wallet card for EC Members and it said I wasn't a member so I couldn't track or monitor my session. Instead the onscreen prompts at the charger offered to text me if I entered my #, which I did.
    Why is this? Everything I've seen on thia video and RUclipsra videos differs when it comes to payment with the free membership pass and viewing session status.

      Hello there. The Electrify Canada chargers should recognize your Electrify Canada account by tapping your membership card in the Apple Wallet to the RFID reader. If you are at an Electrify America charger, it will not recognize an Electrify Canada account as it will only connect with the Electrify America app.
      If you are unable to start the charging session by the tap to pay option, you may start it through the app by selecting the charger, confirming your payment method and swiping to start before plugging in.

    Are you guys going to be going after those Infrastructure Bill funds? I’d like to see some more rural build out (West Virginia, the Dakotas and the south are currently only drivable in Teslas via the supercharger network).

    Full charge will be same as gas ,it’s expensive
