Some things really do just seem like destiny. First puppet Steve ever tried to build as a kid was Kermit, it was his high school nickname, Jim’s wife scouted him out and he has the same birthday as Jim Henson himself. It’s like he was truly born for the role
Steve was amazing at everything he did. I really miss him with the Muppets.

This was awesome! I'm a big fan of Steve Whitmire as well as Jim! This video was an amazing tribute to Steve! I love Steve as Wembley Fraggle and Rizzo the rat! I totally agree with Steve when he said there is no this version or that version of Kermit. Kermit is just Kermit and he exists as himself. That was very well put. To me Kermit will always be Kermit no matter what version and I'll love him either way! Thank you for making this! 💚🐸🌴🐀
