I'm currently around top 2300 global on Scoresaber Ranked and I've been stuck around here for over 1 year now and have dropped back this far from 1800 global back then (I started in September 2020 when I got VR with my Oculus Quest 2). Hopefully practising with these maps will help me start improving again. Thank you for uploading something that I think could potentially help me as I usually only see Beat Saber improvement videos directed at beginners. 👍
These maps look so fun to test yourself on, and improve with. I love the slight tech mixed in with speed, as I recently found out I'm not too bad at speed maps
this is improving from unbelieveably good to unreasonably good, you cannot recommend these levels to most peoplewho are really looking to improve from where they are
Agreed, and most people can never perform like this no matter how much they practice. You need the right genetics to even be able to move your wrists that fast without getting hurt. At the top level of play there's a lot of natural ability, it's not all practice, you need both to be the best of the best at anything, no matter what it is.
These are great recommendations, I feel most beatsaber players either get good at acc or speed there is usually no inbetween, and being able to master both is what makes you a top 1000
2:14 i dont even know how you do it tho. like im using my wrists but i feel like im wacking my sabers too early that i miss. any tips? and quick question. how long does it take to master that part of the song?
Is there any playlist where the maps get progressevly more speedy? because i can't get through more than 5 seconds of speed and i would like to practice it.
I started playing Beatsaber all the way back on January 2019 and have been stuck with a original HTC Vive since than. I was rank 870 globally at one point early 2020 but since than i have dropped to arount 5000 because of big pauses and an inferior Setup. I don`t want to always push it on the clonky HTC Vive Controllers, but i do think it is impossible to move at such speeds with them, and i hate it so much. I tried a HP Reverb G2 but the trackig just didn`t work for me...
I’ve started playing beat saber almost 2 months ago, and ranked since about a few weeks ago. For the past week-ish, I’ve been hovering around the 8-10 star difficulty level with A’s to low/mid S’s. These levels look interesting, I’ll give them a shot! I hope they help me as much as they’ve helped you. Also, do you have any advice on what I should be focusing on when it comes to training? I’ve been moderately consistent with some fast songs, but if they’re too fast I’ll accidentally swing faster than I’m supposed to. I also have don’t have that great of accuracy, but I’m not sure whether that’s something I can train or if it comes with time. Other than these levels, should I be trying to stick to getting high scores/FC’ing easy levels? Or should I try beating harder levels?
i would say play levels that are just outside your skill level. for example if you can get good scores on 6 stars, try playing something a little harder, like a 7 star. trying to play maps way out of your skill range is a good way to demotivate yourself. playing easier stuff will make a much more satisfying improvement. hope this works :)
@@deadaccount4400 this is what I’ve been doing, and I actually just recently got my first few 11 and 12 star passes. I think I’m gonna go back to the hardest level I can FC and/or SS and work my way back up, though, because my accuracy hasn’t been so great. Thanks for the advice!
So sounds like you're strength is speed. Since ACC is a very huge part when it comes to ranking (at least on scoresaber) to improve rank you should focus more on ACC and slower maps like fcing 5-6 stars consistently. Acc is the hardest to train and improve on, it takes alot of time to perfect the muscle memory. Just to show how important ACC is in ranking: My top page consists of five 7-8star maps and I'm about #420 atm. But don't completely switch to ACC cuz speed is the thing that takes you from top 500 to top 100.
@@goosybs Yeah that's how it works you can get to top 500 with 2 ways:First one is when you are really good at highstars that you can FC 11+ stars maps but with bad acc and second way is that you are bad at highstars but you can get really good acc on
i forgot which one it was but i made it the farthest into the one with chicken sounds, i made to through the first really fast stream but then i died on the 2nd 1 saber stream
@@thedepressedalcoholites5702 it is nieuwe tune or smth like that and first part is actually doubles if i remember right(like stream but notes on both hands are at the same timing) and second is called jumps where you died
I wanna be able to play maps like this, but I've got the first iteration Vive controllers and small hands, so using those for things like this is next to impossible for me. Does anyone have any kind of recommendation of controllers for things like this?
The music is so whacky, and knowing dutch certainly doesn't make it better lmao. Such good sound design with the most random sound effects, I love it

This is indeed not a video for beginners, but there are enough video's from other people on how to improve as a beginner :)

Wouldn't you go from unreasonably good to unbelievably good and not the other way around?
That kinda just sounds like you are too bad to play these levels, a skill issue, even
@@nptnc Nah unless you're using claw grip with Oculus or something it's really effing hard on you to move this fast.

Top 100* I know a top 400 player who is great at speed and meh at acc and a top 200 player who id meh at speed and great at acc
First one sounds like me tbh
2:33 "linear"
Sprinter / intercity goes so hard
I’m prolly not going to be able to do any of these with my skill level😭
As someone who is learning dutch, I’m happy you pronounced the G at least somewhat right
struggle can be real on index still looking for the right hand positions

On this video your right hand rotation seems too upward, leading into tons of underswings.
