  • A cobbled up video of the Savage Rascal rifle with the factory scope mount. Summary: The rifle and especially the trigger is awesome. Even with low rings the scope makes for a difficult cheek weld for a 10 year old. He still hits the AR500 eight inch gong at 40 yards with no problem.

    I’m a 5,10 14 year old I shot this gun a while ago and I had pretty damn good accuracy at about 20 yards. And hadn’t shot a rifle in about a year before that.

    If you take that Peepsight off you might want to consider putting it inside the hollow of the butt stock so that it does not become lost over time .

    If it to high you need to build up the cheek rest. There are alot of youtube videos about it.

    What rings did you use on those bases for your scope? Just curious...

    Did you use tread lock for the mounts

      I would use blue loctite if I was you. I use that for all my rifle scope bases
