Nice! Thank you for your vote 😊 Judging by the comments, I think, Yellow pages is becoming number 2, maybe more - good competition!
Two of my all-time favorites were Steers "Broke Bakkie Mountain" and Nando's "Where's my chips?" South Africans are the most wonderfully weird people on Earth!
The Nando's commercial is very good! It's actually by the same director as Nando's "Happy Cop" and rubybox's "Come to Me", numbers 3 and 4 in the video. 😊 The Broke Bakkie Mountain, is it this one: ruclips.net/video/UYlJR8ssnHg/видео.html ?
@@DaliborTruhlar yes that's the one!
@@yossarian6799 That's great! 😊
The yellow pages was hilarious!
Great one! I'm glad you liked it 😊
The Leo Prinsloo cameo was awesome.
You're right 😊
The tractor one was brilliant.Especially the way they somehow avoided a lawsuit about the George Michael knock-off.
I'm glad you like it! And you're right 😊
"Do you know your money stole my Savannah...?" I saw the punchline coming a mile away, but doncha love a good old joke?
You're right, it's a classic 😊 I didn't know the commercial before making the video, then I learned that it's quite famous. Do you know what year it came out?
I can't find an original air date; many repostings of the ad and vids like this, and apparently one of the actors is living on the streets in Johannesburg, sadly. But the product itself was first sold in '96. @@DaliborTruhlar
Yes! I remember the same joke acted by two chimps moving a piano downstairs, way back in the 1970s. Younger one says to the older one 'Hey Dad, Dad, do you know the piano's crushing my foot?' 'No son, but you hum it and I'll play it'.
Thank you for the information, that's nice! 😊Also important because they often credit the Savannah commercial with coming up with that phrase. Question is which one is older, PG Tips or Savannah? Here it is: ruclips.net/video/HgzEBLa3PPk/видео.html @devijankowicz9491
This just tells me I need to move to South Africa and open a chicken restaurant. that is the most expensive chicken I've ever seen in my life. I'm going to get rich and I'm going to buy one of those cars that has a truck bed in it ...I miss them.😎
I understand your feelings and I wish you best luck with you truck bed! I'm just afraid, the 30 South African Rand they are talking about in the first commercial is not enough to buy you such a car 😊
Lol R30 is like $1.50.
The yellow pages ad was great 😂
I'm so glad you like it! Thank you for your vote 😊
Many years back, when we lived in SA, there was a great commercial for TV fees I think. Every character’s name was John and then another, where they were trying to comment on a soccer match but this was impossible since you could only see the game from a distance. This is some 20 years ago but I remember them fondly. You don’t happen to know those? Maybe you could show them here also. Anyway, thanks for sharing. I miss South Africa 🇿🇦🥰
Thank you very much for the question, that's a good challenge 😊 And thanks for watching 😊 But I'm sorry, I tried to find the commercials but I couldn't. It would be important to know the name of the company/product/brand etc. Do you have any idea for whom the commercial was?
Remembered & Love the Savannah ads❤️
I'm so glad you like them! They are classics 😊
THANK CHRIST they are only 13% here. And you guys realize the "courier guy" ad was that famous driver with titanium balls who was getting shot at on the freeway. BEST ONE.
Praise the Lord, you are a Christian!🙌🙌
Yes and I visited SA in the 70's. I knew what was coming. The world should take a lesson from SA about what large numbers of them means. @@savannahbridge437
13% but 50%
who's 13% dirty savage whiteys or black originator native beautiful people?
They are all great. Loved them all 😅😬😷
I'm so glad you like them! Thank you very much for your nice comment and for watching 😊😊😊
THANKS FOR SHAREING
Thank you for watching! 😊
2:45 Lucky No. 3 .. was gonna click off but it smells like “come to me” too!! 😂😂
😊😊😊
The perfume one and the "fresh fish" one were my faves 😂
Thank you for your votes and for watching to the end! I'm glad you like them 😊
@@DaliborTruhlar you're welcome 😊
They were all great!
@@Just...Peachy 😊😊😊
I like the one with the bear farting in the truck.
I'm glad you like it! Thank you for your vote 😊
I understood the " Come to me" ad because I had heard it before .In English. The rest of em- not a word.
When you already know it, it comes much easier! I mean, the understanding 😊
Armstrong Beer commercial has all these beat to heck!!
That sounds amazing! I tried to find it but apparently I couldn't. Can you give me a link?
That Chicken Licken ad was completely unrealistic I'm afraid.I've seen bakkies go through the Beit Bridge border crossing with double the height of that load.
@markwillies7666 You made me laugh! 😊😊😊
If it's got Leo Prinsloo I'm all about it. The man is a fucking legend around the world.
You're right 😊
