The guy playing music on stage is actually a cameo of the real violinist who contributed to the Arcane soundtrack, Ray Chen.

    on the subject of jayce & caitlyn's relationship;
they became friends prior to the events of the show due to her parents sponsoring his research, she was part of his patron family. jayce was 24 in act 1 (pre-time jump) while cait was about 14, close to vi's age, so obviously not romantic in nature. besides, riot games has confirmed her to be a lesbian so he wouldn't be her type either way lol. they remained close friends and some fans like to interpret them as sibling figures for each other due to them both being only children and friends since caitlyn was young. i hope to see more of them in season 2, personally.

Caitlyn and Jayce were never anything but friends. There's like an 8 year age gap (Caitlyn was like 15/16 when Jayce was 24), Jayce was sponsored by her family so in effect an employee, and more importantly as shown Caitlyn just doesn't swing that way.

BTW's shooting the crow is I believe symbolism.
Crows are symbolic of bad luck, death, rebirth (transformation). The appearance might be saying in a narrative that change is coming especially ones that’s unexpected. But more than that they represent her as Jinx basically.
When she shot the bird I thought of it as her rejecting who she is. She is a jinx and we see that throughout the show no matter how well intentioned or hard she tries things don’t go right for her and she hates it. It’s her rejecting being a jinx and what she considers are her inadequacies associated to it (self hatred). While also being symbolic in saying change is coming (Vi's return considering this was their old arcade).
This might be a leap but among that self hatred represented in shooting the bird it also might be showing her borderline suicidal tendencies. Episode 4 after failing in protecting the shimmer from firelights and disappointing Silco she's setting off bombs in her lair. Except she's waiting till the last second to kick or toss them. Like their is a lack of self preservation or care for herself. There more to be said on this later in the series.
It can also connect to the council archives and her disconnect from death due to one: dead people not truly dying for her due to her psychosis, and two: she believes in an after that people go to, where they're all together.
The feathers in Jayce and Viktor’s book I think of as a bad omen as to what’s to come with this weapon of hers. While also again showing the slow change within her that started with Silco's baptism. Once she returned from the water we see her dealing far better with creating the weapon then her earlier attempt. A small but meaningful and important change.
The feathers and crow symbolism will show a few more times.

@@EgoJinpachi_ I'm saying "what" cause your applying borders to artistic expression and interpretation in the age of social media. Instead of explaining how there being multiple interpretations around the world means anything against my interpretation in context to what we see in the show (which is more important then region when determining symbolism).
The symbolism of crows in western media can also be symbols of bad luck and or symbols of death. It’s largely down to context, and intent nowadays then the region of production. Indigenous (native American) culture they are said to represent spiritually good luck and wisdom, but then they are also bad omens in Korea but that doesn’t mean everyone in those regions or cultures must apply to that when writing. Again why does region have to control symbolism when it’s largely based in intention/context since arcane is set in a completely separate world.
Besides, in the media sphere of modern America and the world, shows often represent crows symbolically as bad due to the folklore around them as they would often be around scenes of mass tragedy since they are scavengers birds (example Hiroshima after the bombing was the absolute plague of crows that descended upon the remains of the city and the general aftermaths of battlefields commonly having mass flocks of crows like the civil war, or the fact they are commonly around graveyards).
Why can't a western show have symbolism common in other places in the world? Plus I mean Fortiche the animation studio is French, and LoL's most active regions are China and south Korea.
She's a Jinx which means bad luck, and the crows shows up in her scenes specifically and is later her visual representative in the episode 7 fight in juxtaposition to a firelight. A crow has been used symbolically as bad luck so it’s not a leap. Disagree with me sure but provide something of substance (perhaps from the actual show to counter) beyond suggesting a specific symbolism belongs to jp anime.

And in this setting, there are two Champions who have strong ties to crows - Swain, the regent of Noxus, and Fiddlesticks, a scarecrow who unleashes a storm of them when using his ultimate ability.

A couple things I wanna say since I’m sure watching a bunch of different things at once can make things hard to remember or understand (I’ll keep it super simple):
    1. The baptism scene is just a symbolic baptism scene. Nothing physically happens to Powder/Jinx there. Silco wanted to give her a symbolic rebirth to help her move on from her past.
    2. Marcus is definitely a detestable character. That said, you can still kind of see how he’s gotten himself stuck in an impossible position. He’s assumedly a single father trying to provide for his daughter, and he wants to protect people, so he got taken advantage of by Silco. He made a few too many mistakes and misjudgments and is basically stuck now under Silco’s thumb. One of the creators of the show said they wanted to ask this question: “Can you forgive a monster?” And his answer was “I don’t know.” That’s for you to think about!
    3. The scene where Viktor’s blood is mixing with the hexcore while Jayce claps cheeks is one of my favorite scenes because of the symbolism, actually. It helps characterize Viktor and separate him from Jayce further because as Viktor is dying and alone, Jayce is doing an act that creates life and is together with somebody.

You should absolutely react to still here. There's so much story in that clip that you may want to know just a little going in. I won't spoil it, but just some background on the characters.
The lamb and the wolf (Kindred) are the "grim reaper" in the way that you can die peacefully from the lambs arrow, or run from death, and the wolf will give you the fight of your life. They appear in each scene of the cinematic.
Kayle and Morgana are twin aspects of Justice. Morgana chose to live closer to a mortal life, and Kayle views this as disrespect to their mother (the previous aspect). They each carry half of their mother's sword.
Aatrox is a demon trapped in a sword. Whoever picks up the sword becomes Aatrox. This race hates being alive, so they constantly wage war in the hopes of someone killing their body and putting them back in their "shell"
Yasuo is a seasoned warrior with wind powers, and has killed countless people. He wants to live like a hermit and not kill any more. He is given a vision of the future.
Tryndamere was in a battle a while ago, and was accidentally infused with blood magic that briefly makes him unkillable. While he's fighting, he views every opponent as death coming for him rather than the person he is fighting.

-“The Path, An Ionian Myth” then “Kin of the Stained Blade”
Champion re-work trailers (these are when they make trailers for champions who have been re-worked. League is an on-going game that still runs on an old engine, as of so far they haven’t decided to update the engine, but it’s a live service game. Each year they release new champions, effects, etc. Basically old champs can fall behind from graphics, gameplay, etc. so every season they will re-work a few champs and launch a trailer to tease them)
      -Fiddlesticks: terror in Demacia
Tip for all of these, they should be in the playlist on leagues youtube page and easy to find. I omitted some that are already mentioned. I put * symbol by some because they are best watched in an order. For example, you can find the ruination event if you look up “sentinels of light” - and playlist by timfernix (ironically ruination event is not a playlist on leagues youtube page lol)
Start watching all the League of Legends animated music videos:
      1. Warriors
      2. Awaken
      3. Phoenix
      4. Legends Never Die
      5. The Call

      8. Rise
      9. Breathe
      10. Get Jinxed
      11. K/DA (This is K-Pop music)

      Noxus
      Demacia
      Freljord
      Bilgewater
      Don't Mess With The Yordles
      Ionia
      Shadow Isles
      Targon
      Piltover and Zaun
      Shurima
Then there's the ORIGIN stories and Summoner's Rift Cinematics.
      Annie
      Darius
      Warwick
      Fiddlesticks
      Ekko
      Amumu

      The Path, An Ionian Myth
      Kin of The Stained Blade
      A New Dawn
      Feeding Frenzy
      All That Will Ever Be
League of Runeterra animated cimematic video trailers:
      1. Monuments of Power
      2. Empires of the Ascended
      3. Guardians of the Ancient
      4. Beyond the Bandlewood
      5. Magic Misadventures
      6. A Curious Journey
      7. Worldwalker
      8. Awakening
      9. Domination
      10. The Darkin Saga: Awakening
      11. The Darkin Saga: Domination
      12. The Darkin Saga: World Ender
      ________________________________
Other cool things people like to do is bring up champion pages and read their story - and lore. Every champ on the league page has a little story and then a lore page.
People also like to react to their skins whether by trailers or images
And each champion has a voice line compilation
Yes league fandom is huge and the world & lore is vast.
There's also a really great youtuber called "necrit" who's ENTIRE channel is breaking down league of legends lore IN-DEPTH, I think his channel is like 7 - 10 years old and just strictly built on in-depth league lore.
