In this next module we will begin to define topics central to African American studies such as racism, racialization and intersectionality (the intersection of race and racism with social class, gender, sexuality, religion, spirituality, national origin, immigration status, language, and/or age).
In order to explore these terms, we will begin with a discussion of race, racism in America and explore the importance of intersectionality.
