I can see some 2022 advent calendar items(hello Byoma) that I still haven’t got to either! I will be interested to see how all these products work for you. I know I have restricted myself to not buying skincare other than the advent calendar and one sub box until I have only a couple left from each type. I buy things I go through quickly like lip balm, hand cream and micellar water, trying new brands.

I used to be a massive skincare collector and a sucker for GWP (Priceline, Adore Beauty etc) but in 2023, I came to the realisation that I had far too much (storing it all is such a pain) so I have decided I am banning myself until I use up my entire stash. I am giving away as much as I can but definitely not planning on bringing anymore into my house. I spent Jan 1 going through my stash and throwing out anything that has expired. I hope you don’t feel like you need to keep buying to produce content on your channel - you have heaps so I think reviews of products from your current stash is great 😊 Where did you get your blue tubs from? They look really sturdy! And great job organising too!
Thanks for sharing! I unofficially did a minimal buy for the first half of 2023 and it felt good. I might do certain months with no buy to keep everything ‘under control’. I do enjoy sharing the gifts and wanting to try new stuff though, who doesn’t 😂. So giving out to family and friends of most the gifts is my way to go, at least for now. I’ll see how I go this year with all these mini goals and set up a better plan next😁.
@@renaemma Well done on the minimal buy in 2023. I am getting into minimalism so I’ve just reached that point where I want to declutter as much as I can and stop being silly with money. I have a tendency to collect stuff (perfume, makeup, skincare, nail polish etc) but I don’t want to anymore :D I know you love skincare and makeup so if it brings you joy, then why not! I have more than a lot! Luckily I can share with my family and friends. I definitely like purchasing Australian brands, most of them are affordable and easy to access.
Anything that is cream based I'd be using as a body moisturizer. Seems a waste but not as much as throwing them out. Any oils id use as hand moisturizer at night before bed Tea tree/ acne stuff id use on my back and chest Also, thicker creams and oils can my used as makeup removers
Great tips! I use a lot cream as body lotion too. And most oils I use on my body because my legs are super dry but having a combination face 😂 I should try tea tree on my back as well!
