What exactly do you mean ''environment''?
Success have destroyed a lot of young people. They need someone with a firm and guiding hand to help them. CR7 had his Mom and Fergie, Messi had Barca. For people like Balotelli being rich, famous and having yes men and yes women around you can be a very destructive environment with no one to guide you. We're seeing that unfolds with Neymar right now, he's becoming such a brat he may very well go the same route which is quite sad for such a talented young man. So yeah success without the mind or means of handling it can create a destructive environment out of a productive one. What a lot of young people need is a firm and guiding hand to stop them from being a self destructing time bomb, that's what he was and what Neymar someone who should be gearing up for becoming number one seems to be destined for. That's what I get from what was said. We've seen it a lot with these young kids becoming rich such as rappers, movie stars etc and the madness that follows.
How many kids have you seen dealt with it. Majority of inexperience kids who had reach that level of fame ended up crashing and burned. If kids have good mature parents who will teach them, they have a better chance of handling such situation but if they have no one and go at it alone then majority of them end up like most child stars we've been seeing getting destroyed. Lessons in life comes from seeing mistake and creating solutions not sitting down criticizing as if you know what it's like to be there. Learning from other peoples mistakes is always better than ending up doing the same and having to learn from it.

There are people with talent and people who need to work more than others to achieve good results, if people with talent do not like to train they will pretty much end as Balotelli, it's not my word, Mario many times said i hate to run and i only want to play, unfortunately an athlete at his level must take care of his body too, the more you age the more you need to train. Same story for his good friend Cassano, he had even a bigger talent, the sky was his limit but the head was somewhere else..
