Hi, Wes. Thanks a bunch for this tutorial. I've redesigned my WP site a half-dozen times or more, always using what I know or am learning. Elementor sits unused because I couldn't make sense of it. (Ummm... a YT would've answered my Qs. Duh!). In fairness, I'm 100% all-in as I build my microbiz after retiring early from teaching. Looks like today was the day to learn how PERFECT Elementor is for me. The building blocks fit nicely in my left-brain, organized teacher thinking - as I redesign for my creative business site. The "minimum height" option is not on my version here. I just downloaded it 2 weeks ago... so maybe they changed something. Was trying to follow along, but that one thing totally lost me. You did a fantastic job of 'demystifying' the many different facets of the dashboard in Elementor, and how many of the regularly needed and used functions actually work. This was a great tutorial in both building a landing page and how to use the most popular elements in the dashboard. Bookmarked for sure. Hello Wes, I came back to say thank you for this video. I watched it as a guide about six months ago and was able to create a website for a client. It's expedient at this point to put out how bad a designer I am...lol. But with your videos, I was able to build a website from the stretch, and to my surprise my client loved it. I'm a speaker, with several micro-communities of small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to build profitable online businesses (most want to build their first website). Unfortunately, I don't have much time right now to create a website for them. But want to recommend they do it themselves. Guess what? Hi Wess, I have a concerning question. When I purchased the Wordpress subscription through their website it didn’t allow me to use any of the tools you are showing on this video. Did I have to go through your referral code to access all these plugins ? As of today I have premium Wordpress plan but I cannot access the Hello Elementor plugin
Did you purchase THROUGH wordpress, or did you just get wordpress hosting on another webhost? I've never gone through wordpress themselves, so i don't know what limits they would put on it.
Whenever I tried using the overlay and gradient my image completely disappeared. I have played with it over and over trying to figure out why I cannot see the image anymore. I adjusted the opacity but regardless the image is no longer visible. I'm sure it's a quick fix but I haven't figured it out yet. Any help welcome! Thanks for the video.
Evidently, Elementor has made some changes very recently. About a week ago, when I pulled up "Blocks", I found about 40% of them (maybe a little less were not locked). Today, I had trouble getting that section to pull up.... when I finally did... they are ALL locked as PRO features... I found maybe only 1 or 2 that were free to use. Unfortunately.

Hi Wes, thank you for this amazing tutorial. I have just launched my page following the steps here. I have one question. Maybe you can help. I want to make the page into a template. Then I click "save as template" in Elementor, and the pop-up window asks me to name the template, but I can't type into the field. I tried Chrome and Microsoft Edge. I have a pro subscription. What am I doing wrong? Any tips are appreciated.

I tried creating a landing page on my WordPress account where I have my website built but when I added new page and started designing with elementor, it kept on bringing the header and footer of my website and I couldn't get rid of it.
Is there a way around this?

Hi Wess, I have a concerning question. When I purchased the Wordpress subscription through their website it didn’t allow me to use any of the tools you are showing on this video.
Did I have to go through your referral code to access all these plugins ? As of today I have premium Wordpress plan but I cannot access the Hello Elementor plugin
Did you purchase THROUGH wordpress, or did you just get wordpress hosting on another webhost? I've never gone through wordpress themselves, so i don't know what limits they would put on it.

Whenever I tried using the overlay and gradient my image completely disappeared. I have played with it over and over trying to figure out why I cannot see the image anymore. I adjusted the opacity but regardless the image is no longer visible. I'm sure it's a quick fix but I haven't figured it out yet. Any help welcome! Thanks for the video.

It is, especially if you are building your own website. It's easy to use and worth it!
Evidently, Elementor has made some changes very recently. About a week ago, when I pulled up "Blocks", I found about 40% of them (maybe a little less were not locked). Today, I had trouble getting that section to pull up.... when I finally did... they are ALL locked as PRO features... I found maybe only 1 or 2 that were free to use. Unfortunately.
