@VicStefanu...something tells me Gaugin himself would have been delighted with such lodgings. Imagine the fresh smells you must wake up to -- hey, even go to bed to -- in the morning/evening! Having practiced aromatherapy, I have noticed my sleep is ever more restful and deep falling to sleep to fresh scents (not to be confused with colognes. Oh, no!), such as ocean breeze, eucalyptus, among others). And there's a sense of well being on waking up in the morning, For example, I smile more than ever before. Vic, apologies for the digression. It's just I find my journeys throughout the South Pacific most enjoyable.
+Jay Young I was very concerned, when I first saw the place, that I would not get any sleep because of the noise, especially from the waves. The opposite happened however, I slept rather well, felt the breeze going through the walls and thanks to the mosquito net, I was not eaten alive.. I was rewarded by fantastic starry nights and a beautiful sunrise at around 6.30am... incredible experience, really...
Born and raised in NZ as a Samoan (16yrs) I had the privilege of visiting Samoa around Christmas 2014 until the end of January last year for the first time!! it was like another world for me😍😍and I would just like to say a massive thankyou for all of the videos you've been posting about my homeland❤I never got the chance to visit Savai'i but hopefully when I do go back some day I'll visit this beautiful place where you've stayed at :)I was wondering if you have any more videos on Samoa?bc I've viewed most of them already and they were spectular!! if not then algoodies, once again thankyou Vic :) and I hope you enjoyed your experience :))

I found Samoa far more beautiful (and developed) than American Samoa... The people of Samoa are (in my opinion) more friendly as well...

Um, where are the "facilities"? Can't help but think a tinkle into that beautiful water in the middle of the night would be pretty obvious to your neighbors ;) A nearby kerplop would keep me awake all night.
