I lived in a small bay on a boat for a few years and one summer, I was given a jasmine plant. It was beautiful and smelled heavenly. I put it out on our covered deck area and a wild pigeon immediately moved onto our deck. The pigeon spent all of his/her time sitting on the back of the chair beside the jasmine plant. After a few days, he/she didn't even bother moving when we would walk by. I never fed him/her as it was summer and there was plenty of food to be found around the bay. The pigeon stayed for as long as the jasmine bloomed. When it was down to the last few flowers and the aroma was basically gone, the pigeon flew back to his/her flock and never came back. :)
Hi Sarah, I'd like to see some videos on the individual pigs. So what's each pigs personality, their favourite thing to do. What is their favourite toy, or veggies. What do they hate. Etc... Maybe a vlog for each piggie. With footage just of that piggie and what they've been up to that week. Just a suggestion i love all your vlogs anyway so no worriez if this isn't something you'd like to do.

I have had a lost homing pigeon turn up at my house on two occasions. The first one I never managed to catch, he came morning and night for dinner to my garden for almost 7 years. I named him Rocky 😆 he was adorable, I have a photo of him in my guinea room. The second one was a beautiful patterned one that I named paignton, however after about 6 months she became injured and I had no choice but to catch her and take her to the vets. I knew that meant that she would be returned to her owners, however I also knew if she stayed on the ground a cat would take her. The vets informed me that her owners drove 500 miles to collect her so I hope that meant they wouldn't neck her 😥
I have two piggies with wild wild hair like Pedro. They have long hair and rosettes. Neo was born a perfectly respectable Abby but his hair grew and grew and still growing. The challenges with him is mostly mats around the boy bits and him stepping on his mane when his hair is too long. Poppy Poptart has crazy bangs and can’t see any better than Sea when her hair is too long. She can’t retaliate when she is pee-cannoned because her butt hair grows so fast. She uses blankets to slick her hair back so she can see. When she runs with bouncy sides I tell her to adjust her ploof petticoats. I obviously would not say that to Neo. Both are super gentle sweethearts. Though Neo reserves his perfect bite inhibition only for me.

One day when I was in elementary school a bunch of kids were standing around part of the fence looking at something. I went to see what they were looking at and it was a parakeet stuck in the fence. So I got him out of the fence and took him to the lunchroom where my mom worked. Then I said to my mom "Look what I found. Can I keep him?" My mom said yes put the bird in a box with some holes in it. After school, we went to a pet store to get everything for the bird and I had my first pet.
@@SqueakDreams I got my first rodent from my elementary school too. My class had a mouse. When summer break was coming up my teacher asked if anyone wanted to take the mouse home. Of course, I immediately said I wanted to. Then there were guinea pigs, hamsters, and a rabbit latter.
Beautiful scenery! Thx for sharing🙏🏼 I’ve been wondering if you have a game plan if you had to leave your house on a moments notice. Like because of wildfires or even your home on fire ext., do you have a plan to evacuate if you only had a few mins? Do you have room in a vehicle to take everything you need and your pets? With a fire everything you leave behind could be destroyed. I’ve lived in the same house for over 20 years and it’s almost happened to me 3 times. But I do know people who had 10 mins to grab whatever they could then they had to evacuate, and they did lose their house😔 just wanted to throw that out there if you haven’t thought of it.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Love your videos, hope you’re having a wonderful weekend🙂
Hi I'm a new subscriber I've been watching your vids for a couple of weeks I'm really considering getting 2 guinea pigs my daughter is disabled and going thru a rough time at the moment healthwise but at school her favourite subject is animal care & her favourite animal is most definitely the guinea pigs we are really wanting them for her I would be the 1 looking after them your vids have helped so much was just wondering how much does it cost each month for them for there hay, food, vet bills, everything you have to get a regular supply for thank you so much
Help, we have baby piggies that don't eat veg. What can we do. I'm trying all sorts of veg but it doesn't seem to work. Help. We are also trying to tame them and have had them out twice and they have sat with my daughter nicely. Was that the right move
Many videos I have been watching show people feeding their piggies loads of different veg and fruits etc.... since getting our new family member I have noticed that they all steer clear of anything that isnt cabbage, carrot, lettuce. I have tried many fresh herbs and veg and fruit and even changed the chopping to make bigger and smaller size pieces but to no avail. I did get my vet to check the piggies when I got them to make sure all was ok and she said they are really young babies, Do piggies tastes change as they get older ? Can they get stuck in a rut and only like certain things? Should I just continue to give them all the options and then just take out the stuff they dont eat after a couple of hours? Any help would be appreciated
Im about to get 2 female guinea pigs and I love watching your vidoes for advice! I am planning on getting a 2x4 c and c cage from Kavee. I am not sure though if I should get the regular cage or one with a loft. It’s an added price and I’m not sure if they will use it that much or if it makes the cage have less space. Any recommendations (anyone if free to answer). Thank you!
I’m new to guinea pigs (we took in 2 males).. I watched lots videos.. the best was a woman who owned the oldest guinea pig rescue in Australia. She has several videos up.. she wraps the piggy in a towel, like a burrito.. let me get you her channel name. The key is to only pull one foot out at a time.. the guinea pig is upside down (but it’s spine is supported with another rolled towel - please watch her videos…. Also her other tip, in case you have black nailed piggies (where you can’t see the quick), use human nail clippers and squeeze right where you want to cut before squeezing all of the way… if the piggy winces and pulls foot away, you are too close to the quick.. move a bit further away and then cut.. My piggies remained completely calm for the back feet…. The front foot nails are super thin and tiny if you have young piggies, so don’t forget your glasses.. if u wear them..

My mom said yes put the bird in a box with some holes in it. After school, we went to a pet store to get everything for the bird and I had my first pet.
Such a lovely story thank you for sharing! 😄
When do you restock your Etsy shop?
Hiii, do you have the link for you hay/litter tray container? I have been trying to get one but I can’t find a good one.

Hi I'm a new subscriber I've been watching your vids for a couple of weeks I'm really considering getting 2 guinea pigs my daughter is disabled and going thru a rough time at the moment healthwise but at school her favourite subject is animal care & her favourite animal is most definitely the guinea pigs we are really wanting them for her I would be the 1 looking after them your vids have helped so much was just wondering how much does it cost each month for them for there hay, food, vet bills, everything you have to get a regular supply for thank you so much
which should i use you give piggies water a water bottle or a bowl?
Thank you!
Heyyyy love ur vids! My guinea pigs nails are getting quite long but I'm rlly nervous to cut them! Could u give me any tips?
The RUclips channel is Cavy Central. She’s great! Another really good channel to check out is “Saskia from Los Angeles Guinea Pig Rescue.”
@@robinjones394 thanks a lot!
