«I’m not calling her a liar, I’m calling her an idiot!»
    David the Savage strikes again.😂

I usually like David, but I thought that was a bit mean!

@@JaneDoe-ci3gj It was just a joke, and I think she took it very well based on her reaction. But people are different, of course. You can't throw banter like that at everyone, but I think David has a fair deal of experience and knows who are more likely to laugh and not take it personally.

You have to really give it to them for being on TV for this long and they still manage to always give us high quality jokes every time

For one thing, overwhelmingly in series history, when it's a first time guest having their first turn, they're given a truth to tell. It's even more so the case when that first time guest isn't a proper comedian. It's always seemed obvious to me this is done as a way to ease the guest into the format of the show, and realizing they might not be as great at thinking on their feet as a standup would. There's even been the very funny handful of times where it's jokingly pointed out by Lee or David directly, that essentially "you're not clever enough to have improv'd this crazy of a lie on the spot" lol

Fair assessment, except Loyiso is indeed a stand up comedian

@@0nedayatatim3 oh shit he is? my bad, I didn't realize. but yeah I mean I've never gotten around to actually do the math, but I've seen every episode so many times I feel confident about the conclusion. plenty of very established comics have also still had truths their first go

1:52 He admitted that the alarm was an app. This, presumably, is on his phone-why have an iPad or a second phone _just_ for an alarm? So, he uses his phone for the alarm. Fair enough; quite standard. But then why is his phone in his suitcase?! 🤨 *That's* what had me leaning Lie. 😅

David Mitchell´s reply that he does think of it as his little "throne" when the host said that he was a little thrown.

It’s surprising how many contestants don’t actually get the point of the game.

Or learn it’s a game and suppose to be funny. Some of them have grimace looks or serious they look.
