I'm just a beginner. I started playing several months ago. I've just been working on playing beats and some fills. I regret this now but I haven't practicing with a metronome. Anyway yesterday I decided I'll try playing my first song. I picked Anthem for the year 2000 by Silverchair. I can pretty much get it but there's a few spots that throw me off and my timing isn't the best. I know it takes lots of practice and dedication to get good at drums but I'm starting to question if I can do this. I can't imagine playing some of these songs I see people like you play.
