SPL Heroes: Franck Sauzee - Hibernian

French international midfielder and Champions League winner Franck Sauzee represented a massive coup for Hibernian when the First Division club snapped up the former Marseille, Monaco and Atalanta man in February 1999. Hibernian were subsequently promoted to the SPL and Sauzee took up a key role at the heart of their defence, scoring famous goals in victories over Hearts and Dundee. Sauzee scored nine SPL goals in total for Hibernian and captained the side before retiring from playing to become manager of the club in 2001.
