Hi Jack... Thanks for the video... I find it very informative. Can you provide me a detailed, step-by-step procedure that I can follow to program a new aftermarket Keyless Entry FOB (without Remote Start function) on my 2011 Hyundai Genesis Sedan with Push Button Start and FOB insert slot? I have one of my original FOBs and it functions very well. Is there an easy way for me to DIY program the replacement FOB without using the interface unit that you used in your video? Other on-line videos are vague about or omit to mention what to do with each of the two individual FOBs (new or existing) while performing each step along the way!
I looked at the subscriptions at Hyundai Tech Info. The subscriptions are for the J2534 diagnostics software which only work for 2018 and newer vehicles. Can I still use it to program the fobs?
Yes your local dealer is misleading or ill informed the pin codes are created and kept safe to protect the customers vehicles you need to go to your local dealer with proof registration and driver ID and request a pin for your vehicle sometimes you would have to request for the service manager or dealership manager.
Bro that’s cap they will not give it to you unless you are a locksmith only reason I got my code is because I know a guy in the parts department who mentioned cannot just give to owners even with proof only to locksmith
I tried to get my pin code from dealer also and they told me they don't give them out anymore. They told me a website I forgot name of it keeps codes now for them. U have to have a subscription to get pin code.
Held up better than any VW…..😮 just got rid of my 2010 GTI for a 2014 Hyundai genesis coupe. I’d say even 2006 vw. Will blow the Hyundai away.
do you have to be able to communicate with the immobilizer module to program a key??

Due to the age of the car you could probably use any other aftermarket scan tool that communicates with this vehicle,
The dealer said they are not allowed to give the PIN number out. Are you sure we have access to our own PIN number?
